💎 Why we love it ?

Beijing to Xian Terracotta Army Tour is the best choice for people who are interested in Chinese history and plan to visit the highlights of Beijing and Xi’an in 6 days, with the comfort of staying in 4 Star international hotels and English-speaking guides.

🏁 Tour Itinerary: Beijing to Xian Terracotta Army Tour

Day 1 – Arrival in Beijing – Hotel Check-in

On your arrival day, you shall be greeted by our English-speaking tour guide at the arrival hall, who will take you to your hotel for checking-in. Today, you will only receive the necessary instructions for the duration of your stay and learn the essentials about China. You may even hear a little about the Country’s history and culture. If you have any questions, this day is the best time to ask them from your guide. We suggest getting some rest after your long flight.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Wanshang Hotel or similar.

Day 2 – Forbidden City – Temple of Heaven Day Tour (B, L)

First things first, you will have a full buffet breakfast, and then gather with the rest of the group and go to Tiananmen Square, which is also known as the world’s largest square. Close to the square is our second destination of this day, The Forbidden City. The Forbidden City used to be an imperial palace in the days of the Ming dynasty, and during that time it was forbidden for people to set foot there. After enjoying the first two sites of your day tour, it is time for having lunch in one of the best Chinese restaurants in Beijing. Next, we will visit the Temple of Heaven that is built so large and so tall to be closer to the heavens. The temple is located in the southeast of the city. To better acquaint your group with the history and culture of the Chinese people, we will end this day with a Chinese Kung Fu Show before heading back to the hotel.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Wanshang Hotel or similar.

Day 3 – The Great Wall of China Day Tour (B, L)

At the start of this day we will have breakfast at the hotel and then visit one of the seven wonders of our world, The Great Wall of China. When we reach the Great Wall of China, you will only be able to see some sections of the wall because of its length. These sections are called Mutianyu and Badaling sections, which are famous and less crowded areas, suitable for visitors. After this visit, you will be taken to the Jade Factory where you can also have lunch and do some shopping before moving towards The Summer Palace. The palace is a large ensemble of several beautiful lakes and gardens, that are only parts of rich Chinese history and culture. By the end of the day, we will take you to a Tea Ceremony, to get some rest and relax.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Wanshang Hotel or similar.

Day 4 – Hutongs of Beijing – Bullet Train to Xi’an (B)

The day starts with a full buffet breakfast at the hotel. After that and at noon, we will head for lunch in a local Chinese restaurant to enjoy some of their food of your choice. After lunch is the time to visit one of the Hutongs of Beijing, to see some of the old neighborhoods of Beijing and learn more about their way of life. After a walk in these neighborhoods, we must head back to the hotel to check out and catch our train to Xian. From there your new guide will take you to your new hotel for check-in.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Xi’an On Renmin Square or similar.

Day 5 – The Must-See of Xi’an (B, L, D)

Enjoy your full buffet breakfast at the hotel as you will be seeing a good number of places on this day. At first, we will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum to learn a little about history during the Qin dynasty and learn about their craft. One of the important crafts of their time is pottery which can be seen best at the Pottery-Making Factory. Our next stop is a fine local restaurant in which you can have some Chinese food of your choice for lunch. After lunch, it is the best time for visiting the Small Wild Goose Pagoda which is of special religious importance in Chinese history. Immediately after that, we will see the Xi’an Museum and learn more about the country. By night we have arranged for the famous Chines Dumplings for your dinner at one of their best restaurants. We will call it a day only after watching the famous Tang Dynasty Musing and Dance show and then return to the hotel.
Remarks:
Since the dance show is closed in December, January, February, and March, passengers in these months will have a free evening instead.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Xi’an On Renmin Square or similar.

Day 6 – Xi’an City Wall – Departure from Xi’an (B)

On our last day, we will only have a buffet breakfast together and go straight to The City Wall, where you can rent bikes and enjoy the visit as you see fit. After that, it is time for checking out and planning for the trip home. You must consider your flight schedule as you will no longer be accompanied by a guide. We recommend asking the hotel to call you a taxi for the airport unless you do not have a flight to catch. If you have other plans, feel free to ask your questions from the guide before the last day. If you have any other concerns, feel free to contact us. We wish you a safe trip home and hope to see you again in China.

Very good traveling experience which went smoothly and had no problems till the end. I just have one request if it is actually possible. Can you guys make it more adventurous? The 6 days were something alright but I still feel like there is much more to it.

It was my first time that I traveled with a small group of people and I felt so good because we got to meet so many nice and friendly people. Also what I really loved about our guide Micheal was that he knew everything, and even recommended some good vegan restaurants for dinners. The places we went to were very crowded on high season, but I think that’s part of visiting China!

+ PROS: Small group English guide Affordability Hotel
    - CONS: Crowded attractions Not offering Drop-off

Ms. Zan in Beijing was a great tour guide. Made our trip very enjoyable. She provided lots of info about Chinese culture. While in Xi’an, our tour guide Wendy was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Xi’an and terra cotta soldiers. Our tour of Xi’an will be something not forgotten. For the 6 days we had an amazing time even with the cold. I had a great time in China.

It wasn’t my first time traveling China but my first time in Xi’an. Everything was very well planned and on time which I enjoyed. Cycling on Xi’an City Wall and visiting Terracotta Armies and Xi’an museum was the best experience of this trip. Chinawayz has earned my respect and their assigned guide Waren was so professional. Definitely Trip Ways will be my first choice when I plan to go to China for my next travels.

Ni hao! I just went on my 6 days tour of Beijing to Xi’an. I really saw and experienced so much in just a few days. My flight that I had booked had been canceled due to bad weather so I was concerned I would miss the start of my tour. The teamwork from ChinaWayz and Tourradar was fantastic and within a short time I was WeChatting with my tour leader Michael who assured me I would miss nothing. He was right. He was so accommodating and kind. I did expect to be part of a traveling group for the 6 days but instead it was some days on my own with my tour guide (private guided tour! which meant if we had time we could go see or do other things we could. For example one day we got to go to the Zoo and see the Pandas which wasn’t part of the itinerary but we had spare time. So that was really great! ) Michael was able to tell me a lot about the history of Beijing which I found fascinating particularly when we were walking through the Forbidden City. It was an enjoyable experience with him. On the Great Wall tour we joined in with a group of passengers from Iran which was interesting and again a great day. A few of us were able to climb the Great Wall which was exhilarating to experience! I cannot say a bad word about any of the guides! They were all so very good. I got to see a Kung Fu show which was great (4th row from the front tickets!), ate Peking duck and saw the old Beijing and the Hutongs too. The hotel was very nice. My room was huge and the facilities were awesome. A lounge, tea, and coffee. The shower was nice and it had bathrobes too! My only complaint was the bed was a little hard but I think this is the culture in China as I experienced it at all the hotels (so be ready for harder beds when traveling to China!) The breakfast buffet was really good. All in all the Beijing part of my journey turned out to be amazing! A big thanks to Michael for his great knowledge, kindness and company and of course for taking photos for me! I enjoyed meeting you! The next part of my tour went to Xián. I took a flight (included in the tour price) and for the next 2 or so days also enjoyed being a tourist in this pretty city. I had a great hotel again but unfortunately the bed was hard again. The breakfast was at the Sofitel and wow was it outstanding! During Xián I had 2 different guides- Stephen who took us to the Terracotta Warriors. He was great and even gave us a Mandarin lesson! I joined in with a group of British tourists. For the night time program I got to see a vibrant singing and dancing show about the Tang Dynasty. I really enjoyed the show and dinner was Dumplings. They were soo good. Many varieties. I joined in with another group who were lovely and from America. The next day was the city tour with Ruth. I had a great time with her. The day started out with a bike ride on the city wall which was amazing and then we got to see the Small White Goose Pagoda and these trees were like 1000 years old. She was also very knowledgeable. We went for a brief shop through the Muslim Quarter and then had an included lunch which was delicious. The whole tour wasn’t rushed in the slightest. All the guides were really lovely and a pleasure to meet. I felt safe in their company and well looked after. The things to see and do on the itinerary were superb. If you are planning a trip to China then this could be the very tour for you!
