15 Day Turkey Private Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free time and overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour (B, L)

You will meet your guide at the hotel and start your Istanbul city tour. You will have one and half hour Bosphorus boat trip with the private yacht (during this tour you will see the bridges of Istanbul, Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, Anadolu and Rumeli fortresses, and beautiful houses around the strait), and afterward visit Spice Market (17-century structure that housed the majority of the city’s spice trade) and Istanbul Archeology Museum; after the tour return to the hotel, free time and overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 3: Istanbul Old City Tour (B, L)

You will meet your guide at the hotel and start your full-day Istanbul Old City tour. Byzantine Hippodrome (used for public entertainments organized by emperors), Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque, famous for its tiles), Topkapi Palace (imperial residence of Ottoman sultans), Hagia Sophia (Church of Holy Wisdom, the museum that used the be the biggest Orthodox church in the World), Grand Bazaar (the oldest and the largest covered market in the world). Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 4: Istanbul – Troy-Canakkale (B, L)

Approximately 5 hours driving to Canakkale; visit Gelibolu War field from the 1st World War (optional) and the ancient city of Troy, made famous in Homer’s epic poem; overnight stay in Canakkale.

Day 5: Canakkale – Pergamon-Kusadası (B, L)

Departure from Canakkale and 3 hours driving to Bergama; visit the acropolis of Pergamon, a city that was famous for the 2nd biggest library in the Ancient World, and the Temple of Asclepion which was one of the first hospitals in the world; after the tour, 3-hour transfer to Kusadasi and overnight stay.

Day 6: Ephesus Tour (B, L)

Visiting the ancient city of Ephesus (the biggest collections of Roman ruins in the Eastern Mediterranean), the House of Virgin Mary (it is believed that the Mother of Jesus spent her final years in that house close to Ephesus), and the Temple of Artemis (one of the seven wonders of the ancient world). Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Day 7: Kusadasi – Bodrum (B, L)

Visit 3 Ionian cities of Priene, Miletos, and the well-preserved Temple of Apollo in Didyma; after the tour proceed to Bodrum for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Bodrum City Tour (B, L)

Bodrum city tour: visit the St Peter’s Castle and Mausoleum which is one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world; overnight stay in Bodrum.

Day 9: Bodrum – Pamukkale (B, L)

2 and half hour driving to Aphrodisias, on the way to Aphrodisias we will stop to see the ancient Roman City, Stratonikeia; after visiting the city of Aphrodite famous for its well-preserved stadium, we will drive 1 more hour to Pamukkale; during Pamukkale and Hierapolis sightseeing, you will have chance to swim in the ancient pool, you can enjoy the wonder of nature that is unique in the world and the ruins of the Roman spa city; overnight stay in Pamukkale.

Day 10: Pamukkale – Antalya (B, L)

After breakfast, we drive up to Tauros Mountains (1600m above sea level) and we will visit the ancient city of Sagalassos (one of the best-preserved ancient sites in Turkey famous for its monumental mountain) then we will drive to Antalya; Antalya city tour (Hadrian`s gate, ancient port and Old City); overnight stay in Antalya.

Day 11: Antalya – Konya (B, L)

Departure from Antalya and 5 hours drive to Konya; on the way, you will visit one of the best-preserved Roman theaters, Aspendos, and an ancient Roman city of Perge; in Konya, you will visit Mevlana Mausoleum, one of the most important spiritual centers in the Islamic world; overnight stay in Konya.

Day 12: Konya – Cappadocia – Ihlara (B, L)

3-hour drive to Cappadoccia; on the way you will visit Ihlara Valley where you will spend two hours walking in the canyon, to discover the churches carved into the rocks and enjoy the nature; arrival to Cappadocia, overnight stay.

Day 13: Cappadocia (B, L)

Optional hot-air balloon flight early in the morning; Cappadocia tour: Imaginary Valley (also known as Dervent valley), Monks Valley, Zelve (amazing cave town which housed one of the largest communities in the region), and Goreme open-air museum (ruins of churches carved into the volcanic rock); overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 14: Full Day Tour in Cappadocia (B, L)

Cappadocia tour: Kaymakli underground City (one of the most interesting examples among 36 underground cities in the area), Uchisar Castle (the highest point in the region with amazing landscape view), Pigeon Valley, and Love Valley. After the tour, you will have a private transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your flight to Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 15: Departure Day (B)

Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
