7 Day Egypt Tour to Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Nile Cruise

Day 1:  Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo airport. Meet and assist by our representative who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.

Day 2: Great Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Saqqara (B)

Your real holiday starts right now. Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from the inside? Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan – Nile Cruise (B, L, D)

Today you will fly to Aswan to start your 3-night Nile cruise to Luxor. Meet and assist by our representative at Aswan airport. Transfer to your cruise. Lunch on board. In the late afternoon, you will take the traditional sailboat called a Felucca for a ride around Elephantine Island. Overnight is in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Tour – Kom Ombo (B, L, D)

Today, you are exploring the highlights of the beautiful City of Aswan such as the High Dam, the Temple of Isis at Philae Island, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk. Back to your cruise to set sail to Kom Ombo. Stop at Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek as well as the Crocodile Museum. Then set sail to Edfu. Overnight is in Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu – Esna- Luxor (B, L, D)

You will wake up on the hustle and bustle of the horse carriages waiting to transfer you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After the tour of the temple, the cruise will set sail to Luxor via the Lock of Esna.
Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Overnight is in Luxor.

Day 6: Kings Valley – Hatshepsut Temple – Colossi of Memnon (B)

Disembarkation. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo airport to your hotel. Free time.

Day 7: Egyptian Museum – Saladin Citadel – Khan El-Khalili – Final Departure

Today, you are exploring the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum. The eye-catching objects such as the golden treasure of Tutankhamen, the silver treasure of Psusennes I, the diorite statue of Khafre, and several other pieces are on view. From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
