🏁 Tour Itinerary: 15 Days Morocco Tour

Day 1: Casablanca Arrival Transfer to the Hotel (B)

Our driver will meet you at the exit of Casablanca airport up to your flight timing. And will drive you to the center of Casablanca where you will visit the impressive Mosque of Hassan II, built in 1993 by a team of over 6000 craftsmen. Located on the north of the city it is an imposing edifice and one of the few mosques in Morocco that foreigners are allowed to enter. ( if your flight is late in the afternoon you will visit it on the next day) after you will check in your accommodation.

 

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah (B)

After breakfast in your hotel, you will start the drive to Rabat the capital of Morocco. We will start visiting the  Mausoleum of Mohammed 5 and Hassan Tower after we will visit the Oudaya Kasbah. we will continue to Asilah Most of the drive will be by the coast. by 3 pm will be in Asiah, where you will have the opportunity to explore the city. Asilah is known for its annual festival for art – most of the walls of the Medina are painted by various famous artists from all over the world. Your visit includes the Skalla fortress, where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the Atlantic ocean. overnight in Asilah.

 

Day 3: Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen (B)

After breakfast, we will continue driving to Chefchaouen through Tangier On the road we’ll observe the lighthouse and the memories of Spartel Greek mythology will come to our mind in the caves of Hercules. You will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the area and enjoy the beach. Then we continue our trip to bleu city. we will reach  Chefchaouen in the afternoon check-in in your accommodation. after you will have free time to walk around the blue city or have dinner in a small restaurant on the square Outa Hammam.

 

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (B)

This morning, after breakfast, we will go to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage town, an ancient Roman settlement. Here you can admire the alleyways, gates, monuments, and mosaic floors. Dating from the 2nd and 3rd centuries, the Roman ruins here are considered the best-preserved in Morocco. Our next stop will be in Meknes, a World Heritage Unesco Site and one of the 4 Imperial cities of Morocco. Meknes, the site of the first Arab dynasty created by Moulay Ismail, and here you can visit the Medersa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. Afterward will take the way to Fes and check into your accommodation.

 

Day 5: Full day to visit Fes (B)

After breakfast, you will meet with a local official tourist guide to exploring Fes, the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. Finish your tour with a visit to Fes Jdid, and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic view of Fes.

 

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (B)

Today, we depart from Fez early morning to the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have some memorable photos. After that, you will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel where you will spend the night. Dinner in the hotel.

 

Day 7: Merzouga – Hassi Labied – Khamlia – Nomad family – Fossil Site – Tour of the Dunes (B)

This morning after breakfast in the hotel, you will have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of fossils, visit a nomad family living in tents, visit Khamlia village, and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa. Visit the lake Dayate Sarji that forms in springtime which attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. In the afternoon get ready for a camel trek for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

 

Day 8: Erg-Chebbi dunes – Erfoud – Tinejdad – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades (B)

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert and then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga. We depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrive at Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot. Later on, we drive to Boumalne du Dades and stopping for a panoramic view of Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 9: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah (B)

This morning after breakfast in the hotel, we depart to Marrakech. The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove, a beautiful place to contemplate more than 700.000 palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area. In this Valley damascenes, roses are raised for cosmetic use such as the valued rosewater. The next stop is in Ouarzazate, also known as “The gate of the desert” which in the Berber language means “noiseless or without confusion”. Here we´ll see the Taourirt kasbah, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco. Stopping for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt then another photo stop near the Atlas film studios. After that, we continue to the ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot on this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. Free time and overnight in Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah.

 

Day 10: Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou – Taroudant (B)

Today we will pass the lower edge of the Atlas mountain range through some stunning roads towards our destination. In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to visit the special medina of Taroudant. Our stop for the day will be in Riyadh in the village of Taroudant, where you can take a nice walk and there would be a great opportunity to buy some legendary Moroccan saffron growing around this area.

 

Day 11: Taroudant – Agadir (B)

Today’s ride will take us on one of the most amazing coastal roads of Morocco. We will ride through the Souss-Massa National Park. In the afternoon we will arrive at our Paradise, a fantastic surf and yoga retreat hotel with beautiful SPA facilities and an on-site surf school.

 

Day 12: Agadir – Essaouira (B)

A nice coastal ride will take us to our next stop. Our ride will take us through smaller country roads before arriving at the laidback coastal town of Essaouira. In the afternoon we will visit Essaouira, an exceptional example of a late-18th-century fortified town, built according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture in a North African context and the favorite city of Bob Marley. You will have the chance to explore the old medina, walk on the wide sandy beach, make a nice Segway ride, or enjoy the laid-back souks and stellar seafood.

 

Day 13: Essaouira – Marrrakech (B)

After breakfast in the Riad, we depart for Marrakech. A relaxing drive lined with Argan oil cooperatives. Here you will have the opportunity to visit an Argan oil cooperative. Later we will reach Marrakech and check into your hotel/Riad.

 

Day 14: Marrakech Sightseeing (B)

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will have a private guided walking tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon the best option is to explore the medina on your own, approaching the square that in the evening is full of narrators, jugglers, diviners, snake charmers, and musicians.

 

Day 15: Marrakech Transfer to the Airport of Casablanca (B)

The driver will drop you off at the airport up to your flight time and the end of our services.
