🏁 Tour Itinerary: 10 Days Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel Tour for Archaeology Lovers
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
On the first day, you will arrive at Cairo International Airport. Our representative will meet and greet you there with a sign of the Egypt Online Tour. We will then transfer you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo overnight. (5-Star hotel is available on request)
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara, Memphis & Dahshur Tour (B)
As soon as you have your breakfast, you will visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Then, you will visit the Great Sphinx that dates back to Chephren. After that, our tour guide will take you on a visit to the Valley Temple of the pyramids and the most amazing photo stops.
You will continue your visit to Sakkara, Memphis, and Dahshur. In Memphis, you will see the Statue of Ramses II. On your way to the south, you will explore the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid of Dahshur. There’s an optional trip in the evening you can take i.e. Sound & Light Show in the Pyramids area. You will enjoy your overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Museums & Tamp Markets Tour (B)
After having breakfast in the morning, you will start your visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. You will see a rare collection of Egyptian art pieces that are of 5000 years. Then, we will take you to Manial Palace and the Gayer Anderson Museum.
After that, we will take you on a visit to the markets and bazaars to buy souvenirs. You will then continue to Khan El Khalili Old Bazaar where you will visit the Textile Museum and Tent Makers Market. We will transfer you back to the hotel overnight.
Day 4: Luxor East Bank Tour (B)
You will enjoy your breakfast in the morning. We will provide an airport transfer to catch a flight to Luxor. Upon your arrival, we will take you on a visit to the Temple of Karnak and Luxor. On your visit to Luxor Temple, you will see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. We will take you on a bus trip to Karnak.
Start your visit with the Avenue of Sphinxes, then the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut, and Tuthmosis III, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake and the Amon Temple adorned with lotus and papyrus designs. You will then visit the Luxor Museum and we’ll transfer you to the hotel overnight in Luxor.
Day 5: West Bank Tour (B)
After breakfast, you will visit the Valley of Kings and three tombs including the Tomb of King Tutankhamun. Take your visit to Queen Hatshepsut Temple and the tombs of the Nobles as well as the Ramasseum. After that, you will visit the Valley of the Queens and stopover at the Colossi of Memnon for around 15 minutes and Amenhotep II mortuary temple. Then, we will transfer you back to the hotel in Luxor overnight.
Day 6: Abydos Day Tour (B)
You will take your breakfast in the morning and visit Abydos – the ancient Egyptian belief of God. After that, we will continue your Dendera tour to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of joy and love. This temple is situated in Dendera, just north of Luxor. Then, we will transfer you back to the hotel for overnight in Luxor.
Day 7: Edfu Kom Ombo – Aswan Tour (B)
As soon as you have done your breakfast, we will drive you to Edfu and a visit to the majestic temple dedicated to Horus. Our tour guide will continue to Kom Ombo Temple, based on high grounds overlooking the River Nile. Then, you will move to your hotel in Aswan overnight.
Day 8: Abu Simbel Tour (B)
Having breakfast in the morning, you will visit the Abu Simbel Temple and the Colossal Temple built by Ramses II. The temples were built from a sandstone rock cliff and represent the deities carved on their huge façade. Nearby, the small Temple of Nefertari dedicated to Hathor Goddess. After that, you will be back in Aswan overnight.
Day 9: High Dam Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk – Cairo Tour (B)
When you have your breakfast, you will start your High Dam tour and visit the Unfinished Obelisk. Then you will head to the majestic Philae Temple built in the honor of Isis goddess, the main deity of the island. After that, we will transfer to Aswan Airport for your departure to Cairo. Upon your arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel overnight in Cairo.
Day 10: Cairo – Departure (B)
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to the airport and help you through final departure formalities for a smooth trip back home.
