First we must say that Ulas is the best tour guide we’ve had. We wished we could have had him as a tour guide the entire time. Ephesus, Temple of Artemis, the catwalk at Popüler Leather, Oba Carpets and Siricine were our favorite locations. Ulas is very knowledgeable about history and answered all of our questions. Están, our driver, is pleasant and provided professional service. Highly recommend this tour and tour guide!

Where should I start? Well it begins with two people: Goksu Pamir and Yilmaz. Goksu is hands down the best tour guide I have ever experienced. I have never encountered a person that has so much knowledge about a country and generally wants to share with whoever lends an ear. I booked a 10 day tour with Fez Travels and they gave me the best of the best. Goksu and Yilmaz. If you want to experience Turkey in a thorough, thoughtful and adventurous manner then both of those men are the ones you need to request to take you around their beautiful country. I never felt rushed at any location. I always felt like I was given enough time to see and experience the sites. Goksu was very informative and extremely patient with me and the other member of the tour with our questions. He was extremely gracious and answered every question we both had. I overindulged in a few delicious food and coffee items and Goksu was able to get me to a pharmacy where I was able to get the proper medication to make myself feel better. There were so many highlights to this trip. There are so many great memories that were made on this trip as well. I can’t recommend these two men enough. The whole trip was a highlight for me but if I had to choose one highlight, it would be Cappadocia/Kapadoyka and staying at the Cave Hotels. Do yourself a favor and pay to have your accommodations upgraded to experience the Cave Hotel. When I tell you it was AMAZING. It was just that. You WILL NOT REGRET IT. Without giving everything away, Fez Travels offers great deals. Goksu Pamir and Yilmaz are the two people you need to request to provide your tour. Don’t say I didn’t warn you about the awesomeness of this trip. I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this tour but I am so glad that I was able to experience Turkey from the kindness and generosity of Goksu and Yilmaz. Please remember to be on time for departures when your guide gives you the times and also be open to trying everything that Goksu suggests. How many times will you be in Turkey? Try everything at least once. Thank you again Fez Travels, Goksu, and Yilmaz for an unforgettable and wonderful experience. When I visit Turkey again, I will definitely request you.

If you don’t have too much time, this tour is great to hit the major highlights. Just know that it is only 10 days so it is not like you will be able to take your time in each place. If you want that, then take a longer tour. With that aside, I enjoyed the experience very much. The hotels very very good, the one in Cappadocia was exceptional (even though it was a bit retired from town but I guess you just can’t have it all can you?). Our guide Genghiskhan was very knowledgeable and helpful, our driver Murat was very nice and helpful too. They both went up, above and beyond to make sure we got the most value out of the trip. Special thanks to both of them. My mother (travelling with me) though of them two as her “Turkish sons” so you can imagine how well she was treated by them. Bottom line, happy customer here. Definitely recommend the trip, just know that it is more like a sampler than a deep dive.
