💎 Why we love it ?

Annapurna Circuit Trek was the famous trekking route in Annapurna for long days trekking in Nepal. Now it became a two weeks trekking route after the development of roads in the lower part of the trekking areas. Annapurna Circuit trekking also popular as Round Annapurna trek is still on the top choice of many adventure lovers because of its diverse geographical features and beautiful sceneries. Annapurna Circuit trek combines wonderful experiences of walking through river valleys to the high mountain into the wilderness. The trekking route is popular from an anticlockwise direction that starts from Bhulbhule, a place after the famous Beshishar. You will drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule by jeep or local bus and start your trekking following the famous trekking route along the Marshyangdi River.

🏁 Tour Itinerary: Annapurna Circuit Trek

Day 1 – Kathmandu Arrival

The first day of your adventure trip to the Annapurna Circuit Trek starts with your arrival to Kathmandu. Our company representative will welcome you at the airport on your arrival. He will transfer you to the hotel where you can find an easy time to relax after checking in. We will meet you in the evening at the hotel to talk about the trip in detail. Any questions you may have regarding your trip will be discussed so that you are well-prepared for the trip.

Day 2 – Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu (B)

We will take an acclimatization day in Kathmandu today where we spend time exploring the cultural heritage sites in the valley. The sightseeing tour that starts after breakfast takes you to four of the amazing cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley.
Exploring Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath will give you an incredible experience of ancient, medieval, and modern cultural, historical, and spiritual wonders. You will see and experience the lifestyle in Kathmandu during the tour. The tour will take pretty much of our day, today. We will return back to the hotel later in the afternoon.

Day 3 – Kathmandu – Bahundanda (1,430m) – (B, L, D)

It is a long driving day to the start point of the trekking adventure around the Annapurna massif. The drive today takes us to a beautiful place in the Marshyangdi river valley. Bahundanda is our overnight destination that offers peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The drive will introduce us to the rural surroundings of Nepal that we are going to spend a few days on the trip.

Day 4 – Bahundanda – Chamje (1,560m) – (B, L, D)

We are now ready to embark on our trekking adventure around the Annapurna. It is our very first day of the trek that takes us to the beautiful village of Chamje. The walk will take us past some of the lower elevation and middle hills wonders. A mix of nature and culture during the walk is the first-hand experience of trekking in the Annapurna region. We will walk along the beautiful river valley that boasts of local villages and peaceful nature. Our overnight stay today is at Chamje.

Day 5 – Chamje – Dharapani (1,881m) – (B, L, D)

The trek continues today to Dharapani village. We will have a chance to walk through pristine surroundings along the trail. As we trek towards the destination for the day, we will explore the beauty of the rural atmosphere. The walk becomes more fascinating when we can enjoy beautiful surroundings and the same is with the trail today. We eventually reach Dharapani to stay overnight.

Day 6 – Dharapani – Chame (2,725m) – (B, L, D)

Our destination for the day is Chame and the trek takes us through the beautiful Marshyangdi river valley. As we traverse the trail towards Chame, we can feel the elevation growing and landscapes getting more dramatic. We can also enjoy beautiful views of the mountains as we walk along the meandering trail through the river valley.

Day 7 – Chame – Pisang (3,100m) – (B, L, D)

Another incredible day of trekking, we enjoy the walk to Pisang village today. We will be, for the first time in the adventure, over 3,100 meters above sea level on our trek today. The increasing elevation shows some effects as we may go a little slower than in the lower elevation. Pisang is a beautiful village that lies at an elevation of 3,100 meters above sea level. Once we reach and check into a guesthouse, we can take some leisurely wanderings around to enjoy the surroundings.

Day 8 – Pisang – Manang (3,500m) – (B, L, D)

We are heading to the beautiful Manang today. The trail that leads us there is full of natural wonders, from mountains to dramatic valley surroundings. Manang is the major town in the region that works as a sort of business center. We spend overnight here in this beautiful town in the mountains.

Day 9 – Acclimatization Day (B, L, D)

We have an acclimatization day stay at Manang today. We will go for some hiking exploration in the surroundings that will help us adjust to the climate of the higher elevation.

Day 10 – Manang – Yak Kharka (4,090m) – (B, L, D)

The walk today will take us above 4,000 meters from sea level. We continue the trek to Yak Kharka that stands at an elevation of 4,090 meters above sea level. As we traverse the trail, we can enjoy the view of dramatic mountains in the surroundings. It is a short walking day that takes us to the destination with enough time to explore the area. We will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and natural wonders of Yak Kharka.

Day 11 – Yak Kharka – Thorong Phedi (4,420m) – (B, L, D)

We eventually reach the base of the famous Thorong La today. The base of the pass, Thorong Phedi, is reached after a walk of about four hours for the day. As we reach the overnight destination early today, we can utilize the time to take enough rest so that we get ready for the pass crossing adventure tomorrow.

Day 12 – Thorong Phedi – Thorong La (5,416m) – Muktinath (3,802m) – (B, L, D)

The trek continues early in the morning today. We set off for an early morning walk up towards the Thorong La Pass, the highest elevation on the adventure. It will be a tiring yet rewarding journey to the top of the pass. Once we reach the top, we can enjoy the view of incredibly fascinating surroundings.
Later, we trek all the way down to Muktinath to stay overnight. Muktinath is a spiritual site that offers overwhelmingly positive vibrations.

Day 13 – Muktinath – Marpha (2,670m) – (B, L, D)

We follow the beautiful Kali Gandaki river valley downstream and reach Marpha village to stay overnight. It is an awesome day of walking through the river valley that offers some incredible views of natural surroundings. We trek past Kagbeni village and eventually reach Marpha to stay overnight.

Day 14 – Marpha – Ghasa (2,010m) – (B, L, D)

The walk from Marpha to Ghasa today is another pleasant day walking through the river valley. Walking past beautiful settlements and amazing landscape brings us a beautiful day. It is an easy day of walk that takes us to Ghasa to stay overnight. The lowering elevation also makes it easier to traverse the trail.

Day 15 – Ghasa – Tatopani (1,219m) – (B, L, D)

We are on the last day of trekking on our Annapurna Circuit Trekking adventure. The walk for the day today takes us to Tatopani where we bring our walking part to an end. After we reach Tatopani and check into a guest house, we can go for a natural hot spring bath. It is a refreshing and soothing activity after so many days of walking effort in the mountains.

Day 16 – Tatopani – Pokhara (B, L)

We take a jeep ride from Tatopani to drive to Pokhara via Beni. Once we reach Pokhara after the drive of about six hours, we will take a relaxing time around the Lakeside. We stay overnight here in Pokhara today.

Day 17 – Free Day in Pokhara (B)

We certainly deserve a rest day after the long walking adventure around the Annapurna. So, we spend our day here in Pokhara. Although it is mostly a rest day, we can still go for some other sorts of adventure activities like paragliding, bungee jumping, ultra-light flight, zip flying, etc. at an additional cost. These are completely optional activities. You can spend your day in Pokhara simply wandering around at leisure.

Day 18 – Pokhara – Kathmandu (B)

We will drive back to Kathmandu today along the same highway that we took earlier to go to Pokhara. There is also an option of flying back with the payment of the extra cost for the flight. Back in Kathmandu, we will take and enjoy leisurely time around.

Day 19 – Departure Day (B)

The 19 Annapurna Circuit Trek has come finally to an end with beautiful memories and experience of adventure trekking around the Annapurna region. We will drive you to the airport for your departure flight.

This company is very good. They prepare to service you so well. Especially my guide name is Sandeep. He always look after you all the time when i trekked. Ask you about how you feel or what do you want. I’m appreciate him when i trekked to finish in the Thorong La. I’m so tried and cold. He always give me a good words to support me to finish the route.

Picked this company more or less randomly after flying to Katmandu, and wasn’t disappointed. Prakash, the owner, was cordial and professional, trip planning was fast, we were off on a bus towards trail the very next morning, exactly as we wanted. And he stayed in touch over WhatsApp through the trip, helping to solve whatever issues. Our guide, Binod, went above and beyond making the trek safe and comfortable. We’re friends now and if (rather when) I come to Nepal again, will try to go with him if he’s available
