7 Days Amboseli, Hells Gate and Maasai Mara Adventure

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your Kenya wildlife safari starts with a pick-up at the airport then a road transfer to AA Amboseli Lodge in Amboseli National Park.
You will arrive at the Lodge have a delicious lunch and some relaxation. Have an Afternoon safari in Amboseli National Park. Here you will have the opportunity to capture pictures of wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
The park is semi-arid and has marshes and swamps fed by waters that come down from the mountain which support a vast array of Kenya wildlife such as buffalo, zebra, many elephants, and pride of a lion.
Enjoy your game drive before returning to camp. In the evening before returning to your lodge you will stop at a scenic viewpoint to watch a magnificent Kenyan sunset with a chilled sundowner in hand.

Day 2: Amboseli – Hells Gate National Park

Morning breakfast followed by a game drive as you exit Amboseli for Lake Naivasha to arrive in good time for lunch, after lunch you will go on a cycle game drive through the park. The cycle part will end at
the beginning of the Gorge where a guide will company you on the walk into the gorge.
The game drive will end at the spa in Hells Gate where you can enjoy a nice swim at the hot springs.

Day 3: Hells Gate – Maasai Mara

Depart the hotel after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara.
You will arrive in time of lunch at Enchoro Wildlife Camp or similar. After lunch, you can visit a local Maasai village to learn about the culture. Here you will be welcomed by the locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that has formed their rich tradition. Part of the tour includes a glimpse into their local homes and way of life.

Day 5 and Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full-day game drive spent exploring the park in search of the big 5, The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes, and elephant. Between mid-June to late October, one of the greatest spectacles on Earth takes place in the Masai Mara – the annual wildebeest migration. Over one million wildebeest are joined by zebra and gazelle as they move into the reserve seeking water and pasture to Maasai Mara. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch at Mara River while you watch crocodiles and hippos.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Early breakfast game viewing drives bidding bye to Masai Mara and returns to the bustling metropolis of Nairobi. This is another 6-hour drive but you will arrive early enough to have dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant.
The carnivore is the ultimate ‘beast of a feast’ a variety of meats including ostrich, crocodile, and camel, are roasted over charcoal and carved at your table. Delicious side dishes and an exceptional array of sauces complement this fixed price feast that also includes soup, a selection of desserts, and Kenyan coffee. Set in attractive tropical gardens, the service and the décor are outstanding.
After a great dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, we will then transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
