Day 1: Arrival in Salvador

Welcome to Salvador: a living museum of the history and diversity of Brazil! Meeting with the driver at the international airport and transfer to the accommodation.

Day 2: Historical Tour of Salvador – Lençois Chapada Diamantina

Breakfast at the Hotel and early in the morning departure for the tour of Salvador.
Walking along the streets of the historic center of Salvador you will feel like going back in the history of Brazil.  The tour starts with the visit to the Barra Lighthouse, passing through the Castro Alves Theatre. Saint Peter Fort and Castro Alves Square are on the way to the historic center of Pelourinho. You can’t miss the historic churches, coffees, restaurants, shops, and buildings of pastel colors.
With more than a thousand houses and monuments built since the XVI century, Salvador presents the highest collection of architectonical herance in baroc style of Latin America.
At the end of the tour, departure to Chapada Diamantina (about 6 hours).
Upon arrival, transfer to the village of Lençois, the “entrance” door of Chapada Diamantina. Check-in at the accommodation and overnight.

Day 3: Vale do Pati Trekking – Cachoeirão

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the trekking of Do Pati Valley.
The trekking in the Vale do Paty is characterized by trekking in extensive flat areas, but with some moments of steep ascents and descents and passages by river beds. It is located between the municipalities of Andaraí and Mucugê. At every moment we come across dazzling and enormous hills, magnificent rivers, exuberant waterfalls that make us understand and admire the magnitude of the local nature.
We will leave Lençóis at 7:00 to start our trekking in the Vale do Pati, we will cross stretches on a paved road 55 km and stretch without asphalt for 20 km until Guiné Village, from where we will start a 14 km trekking and enjoy a beautiful view of the Cachoeirão, we will have a snack in the place, after the snack and appreciation of the view, we will go to the night in native house (there is no electricity, only solar energy) and the dinner will be served by them. Let’s rest and get ready for the next day.

Day 4: Vale do Pati Trekking – Morro do Castelo & Cachoeira do Funil

At 7:30, after breakfast at the home of the native, we will ascend the Morro do Castelo, by a steep and scaled trail. We will cross a grotto that crosses the hill and climb the lookouts, which will give us a glimpse of part of our journey to be made in the next steps, it will be the moment when we will go higher during this expedition to the Vale of the Pati, 1600 meters high! On the descent, we’ll take a break at Funil Waterfall to relax your feet and take that energizing shower. We will have steep climbs of ascent and descent.

Day 5: Vale do Pati Trekking – Gerais do Vieira & Rio Preto

We will leave at 6:30 after breakfast, we will go up the ramp of access to the Bumba break, we will have a beautiful view of the Gerais do Vieira and Rio Preto. Today’s trekking is longer with 22 km, but super compensating due to the beautiful landscapes, we will have a snack during the trail. Upon arriving at Vila do Capão, we will take you back to Lençóis, still, in the Capão Valley, we will try the typical local jaca heart of the region.

Day 6: Lençois – Morro de São Paulo

Breakfast at the Hotel and early in the morning (around 7:00), check out and meet with the driver. You will be transferred to the port of Salvador (about 6 hours) to take the boat to Morro de São Paulo and finally enjoy some days of deserved relaxation in this tropical paradise!
Once arrived at the port, embark on the ferry that will take you to Morro de São Paulo.
Upon arrival, you can reach your accommodation easily on foot. The island is car-free and at Morro’s pier, several luggage carriers approach tourists who are arriving to offer their services (price not included). If you need help with heavy luggage don’t forget to ask for their services.
Check-in at the hotel and free night. You can take a walk in the hotel’s surroundings full of shops, restaurants, and historical monuments, such as the Nossa Senhora da Luz Church, the Lighthouse, and the Fort.

Day 7: Morro de São Paulo

Breakfast at the hotel and a free day to enjoy this relaxing beach destination.

Day 8: Morro de São Paulo

Breakfast at the hotel and a free day to enjoy the last day on this beautiful island.

Day 9: Departure Day

Breakfast at the hotel and time to say goodbye to this wonderful destination. After breakfast, reach the pier for your boat transfer back to Salvador. Once arrived at Salvador’s pier the driver will meet you for your transfer to the airport.
