Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be transferred to the Sarova Panafric Hotel or Ole-Sereni Hotel (you can be upgraded to a five-star accommodation on request), where you will spend the night on a bed and breakfast basis. Depending on the time of your flight.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will depart from Nairobi for the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge. Lunch will be served on arrival, followed by an afternoon game drive through the reserve to the endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills where lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous plain animals are in abundance. You will return for dinner at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge and relax in comfort.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve

Today, you will be able to enjoy a morning game viewing with a long drive to the Mara river where you will be able to view hippos and crocodiles. After lunch at the lodge, you will go on an afternoon game drive, followed by a visit to a Masai manyatta or homestead to see the Masai culture. In the evening, you will be able to enjoy a nature walk safari with a resident naturalist to experience the awakening of Africa in Masai land at sunset.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National park

After breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake and is home to the greater and lesser flamingos. At times, you may see a lion crawling on the water’s edge, or if you are a bird lover you will spot different bird species.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National park – Amboseli National Park

Today, you will depart early in the morning towards Amboseli, stopping off for lunch and game viewing on the way. You will stay overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge on a full board basis. Amboseli is famous for its unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, and a relaxed abundant population of elephants as well as prolific birdlife.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Today, you will rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. You will set off for another stimulating “spice” game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest to giraffes and baboons.
An optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. In midday, you will return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive “spice” game drive.

Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi or Mombasa

After breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi or Mombasa. For today, breakfast will be included in the price.
