💎 Why we love it ?

This tour is an exciting experience for young and old! You will be picked up at your hotel and then drive to the outskirts of Bangkok. You have to take some time to explore a local market that is called The Train Market. Vendors display their goods on the track of the train and before the train comes, they need to remove their products – you will await the arrival of the train and see a busy activity of local people. We continue then to the boat station and take a long tail boat to the heart of Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. From there,  we change to a paddle boat and you will mingle with the merchants and taste some local foods. Great place for taking pictures – we later continue for a local lunch and we can stop at a Temple before returning back!

🏁 Tour Itinerary: Train Market & Floating Market

Day 1: Train Market & Floating Market Day Tour

Pick up from the hotel in Bangkok for Damnoen Saduak floating market.
On the way will be passing the largest source of salt production in Thailand along the roadside of the highway. Visit Mae Klong Market. (The World’s Most Fascinating Marketplace), an open–air Marketplace.
People sell locally grown fruits, freshly caught seafood, dried spices, peppers, and other local foods. Amazing! Train tracks run right through the marketplace. When the train comes by, vendors have to close up their canopy and wait for it to pass. Naturally, it’s a popular spot with tourists. Visit Coconut Garden, see how the sugar is being made right from the coconut syrup of the coconut flower. Then take the long-tail boat going along a narrow canal surround the plantation. Then, arrive at Damnoen Saduak floating market and change to a paddle boat to close with the local merchants. What a lovely place to visit. The boat ride along all the canals gave a nice preview of the whole market place. It is huge market place but no bargaining is accepted. However, there was something awful, which was seafood smell along the food stalls in the market place.
