Sea World
The Sea World of Shenzhen is a western-style entertainment zone near the Shekou harbor. As much as it may sound like a waterpark or an aquarium, it actually is a complex of restaurants, beer gardens, and nightclubs.
Nanshan Mountains
You can see the Nanshan Mountain of Shenzhen with its lush green trees not very far from the Sea World. It is a very peaceful and beautiful climb on the stone steps to the top, but you need to be ready for a challenging hike up.
The window of the World
If you want to take your family to a more family-friendly place or stroll around with your friends and visit about 130 models of famous world monuments, you should make Window of the World a top priority.
OCT Loft
The old manufacturing district of the city is now a center of innovation and art with the name of OCT Loft. If you think rapid developments and focus on the economy and trade will leave no room for creativity and art, the OCT Loft will prove you wrong.
Shenzhen Museum
There may not be as many ancient parts in Shenzhen as China’s other cities because it used to be a small village that advanced rapidly, but it is rich in history and culture.
Futian District
One of the reasons behind Shenzhen’s rapid advances is the Futian District as part of the Special Economic Zone of the province. It is the number one place to go shopping, especially if you are looking for electronics.
Luohu District
Luohu District is the place you should visit. While you walk around, keep an eye out for tailors to have your own suit tailored at very reasonable prices and excellent quality.
Dameisha & Xiaomeisha Beaches
Speaking of relaxing, do not miss the Dameisha and Xiaomeisha Beaches of Shenzhen. Both beaches are along the same coast, but the Dameshia is more luxurious and more crowded.
OCT East Complex
The OCT East (Overseas Chinese Town) is a large complex of resort hotels, as well as fun activities such as a hot spring spa, golf courses, rides, a water park, and even a temple.
Dafen Oil Painting Village
What began in 1989 as a group of art workshops for colonial artists is now a highlight of Shenzhen, known as the Dafen Oil Painting Village. Having seen the contemporary art and the environment of OCT Loft, it is now time to see some of the older types of Chines and Western art in this district.
