New Rules for Entering Indoor Public Spaces in NYC

New York City Mayor has announced new rules for entering indoor public areas like restaurants, fitness centers, etc., in which visitors need to provide proof of their vaccination

If you are going to visit New York City or live there, you need to know the new rules in this city for entering the indoor areas like restaurants, entertainment venues, or fitness centers. In such cases, visitors need to provide proof of vaccination, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio.

The health pass called “A Key to NYC” works as proof of vaccination. However, the CDC vaccination card is also acceptable in this case.

The important point is that the rule is not limited to travelers or customers. It’s also a rule for the employees of such areas as well. As the Mayor states, “It’s time for people to see vaccination as necessary to living a good and full and healthy life. This is crucial because we know that this will encourage a lot more vaccination.”

Over half of the population have been vaccinated in NYC, and it seems that the vaccination of the other half is also a necessity for public health.
