Paraportiani Orthodox Church
Panagia Paraportiani Church sits in the neighborhood of Kastro, in the town of Chora, on Mykonos Greek. The name means “Our Lady of the Side Gate” in Greek because the entrance was found in the side gate to the Kastro area, right by the sea. Archaeological Museum
The museum, founded in 1902, is the home to relics discovered in Rhenia in 1898. The most famous artifact you’ll find is a vase with an image of the Trojan horse dating back to the 7th century BC. The archaeological museum showcases numerous vases, ranging from the prehistoric to the late Hellenistic period, grave sculptures, and stelae and funerary urns from Rheneia in more than six exhibition rooms a courtyard. The entrance welcomes tourists by Hercules and Aphrodite statues, followed by pottery, weapons, and jewelry.
