Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

  • As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Tanzania Specialist guide greets you with a big smile: 'Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!' The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. The next day your guide takes you on an exclusive, private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your own safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and watch the animals as long as you like!

Day 2

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

  • lake that covers 75 percent of the park

Lake Manyara National Park lies between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, right along the 400 meters deep Great Rift Valley. The park boasts a variety of landscapes that attract many different animals. You can for example visit the lake that covers 75 percent of the park, pass through a dense rainforest with hundreds of monkeys and birds, and see elephants up close in the woodlands.

Day 3

Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti National Park

  • Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is widely known as the place to go on safari, mainly because of the Great Migration that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast amount of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you.

Day 4

Full Day Wildlife Tracking in Serengeti National Park

  • hidden kopjes

Spend a complete day deep in the open savanna tracking predators on the hunt. Your private 4x4 vehicle gives you the freedom to explore hidden kopjes, watch herds of elephants moving through acacia woodlands, and capture unforgettable photographs at your own pace.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • The famous Ngorongoro Crater

The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look!

Day 6

Ngorongoro to Moshi (Kilimanjaro Foothills)

  • Travel from the wildlife conservation areas into the lush greenery of Moshi town at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy spectacular views of Africa's highest free-standing mountain peak and experience the clean mountain air. Spend the evening resting at your accommodation or touring the vibrant local streets.

Day 7

Outbound International Flight Home from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport

  • The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home. Having second thoughts? It's also possible to add a few days to your holiday by going to one of Tanzania's paradise islands, such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!
