After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, impressive baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring its open grasslands, seasonal wetlands and river areas where animals gather. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and numerous bird species. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, leave Tarangire and journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the Serengeti. As you enter the park, begin your game drive across the vast plains, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. The Serengeti is home to some of Africa’s largest concentrations of predators and herbivores. Continue to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti on an exciting full-day game drive. Start early to take advantage of the cooler morning hours when wildlife is particularly active. Explore different areas of the park in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. Depending on the season and location, you may also encounter migrating herds moving across the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue exploring the landscape as you travel, with opportunities for wildlife sightings along the way. As you approach Ngorongoro, the scenery changes dramatically, with highlands, forests and spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Arrive at your accommodation near the crater and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable morning game drive. The crater is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas and provides excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as you explore the crater floor before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 5-day Tanzania safari.
