TripWays Elite Loyalty Cashback — Program terms

1. What this program is

TripWays Elite loyalty cashback is an optional TripWays-operated loyalty benefit that may be offered to travelers who book qualifying experiences on TripWays.com with Elite integration partners (vendors that have completed TripWays’ Elite checklist). It is not part of the tour fare charged at checkout, not a discount applied inside the supplier’s booking engine, and not guaranteed unless and until TripWays confirms eligibility in writing after your trip.

2. Relationship to displayed and checkout price

• Product pages (including headers, sticky bars, and on-page “from” pricing) are intended to reflect the same price basis as the live booking flow (e.g. Bokun-powered calendar / checkout): the supplier’s configured list from price and any supplier promotion configured in that system.
• Loyalty cashback is calculated and paid separately after TripWays verifies a completed, eligible booking. It must not be represented as reducing the checkout price shown to users or to distribution partners (including Google Things to Do) where parity with the checkout fare is required.

3. Eligibility (summary)

Eligibility, caps, and timing are determined solely by TripWays and may change. Unless we say otherwise in writing, eligibility typically requires, among other things:

• Booking the experience through TripWays.com (not only browsing TripWays then completing off-platform unless a specific campaign says otherwise).
• A registered TripWays account (or equivalent identification we specify) so we can verify identity and pay the benefit.
• Completion of the reserved experience (and satisfaction of any fraud-prevention or chargeback windows TripWays applies).
• The experience and vendor remaining Elite-qualified at the time of booking or as stated in campaign rules.

TripWays may deny or claw back cashback for cancellations, chargebacks, duplicate claims, mistaken quotes, or abuse.

4. Amount and basis

• Marketing materials may show an illustrative cashback (for example, a percentage of the amount paid for the booking) to help travelers understand scale. Actual cashback is based on the verified amount paid for the qualifying booking (net of refunds, taxes or fees excluded by program rules, and adjustments TripWays applies).
• Percentages and caps may vary by partner, campaign, or date. Email or written confirmation from TripWays after verification controls where there is any conflict with on-site estimates.

5. Payout

• Payout methods may include Venmo, PayPal, or other rails TripWays supports. You may need to provide accurate payment handles and tax information where required.
• Payout timing is after verification and may take several business days (or longer for first-time payouts or manual review).

6. No guarantee of tax treatment

Cashback may be treated as income or promotional value depending on your jurisdiction. Consult a tax advisor. TripWays does not provide tax advice.

7. Changes and termination

TripWays may modify, suspend, or end this program or any partner’s participation at any time. Changes may apply prospectively; we will use reasonable efforts to honor commitments already confirmed in writing for completed eligible bookings.
