Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593ft)
  • Highlights: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel in Thamel. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing about the trek.

    • Description: Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city, is a sensory feast. Explore the bustling streets, ancient temples, and colourful markets of Thamel, preparing yourself for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 Fly to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft) & Trek to Phakding (2,610 m/8,563 3-4 hours trek
  • Highlights: Experience an exhilarating flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Begin your trek along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through charming Sherpa villages. Description: The scenic flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas. The trek to Phakding is relatively gentle, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude.

Day 3 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft) - 5-6 hours trek
  • Highlights: Cross several suspension bridges, including the iconic Hillary Bridge. Enter Sagarmatha National Park and ascend to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital. Enjoy your first close-up views of Everest (weather permitting).

    • Description: The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, gradually ascending through pine forests. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant hub with shops, restaurants, and stunning mountain panoramas.
Day 4 Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)
  • Highlights: Hike to Syangboche Airport (the world's highest airstrip) and the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. Explore Namche Bazaar's market and Sherpa culture museum. Description: Proper acclimatization is crucial to prevent altitude sickness. This day allows your body to adapt to the higher altitude while enjoying the local sights.

Day 5 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m/12,664ft) - 5-6 hours trek
  • Highlights: Enjoy a scenic trek with magnificent views of Ama Dablam. Visit the revered Tengboche Monastery, the largest and most important Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Day 6 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m/14,469ft) - 5-6 hours trek

Day 7 Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4,410m/14,469ft)
  • Highlights: Hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100 m/16,732 ft) for breathtaking views of Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and other surrounding peaks. Alternatively, explore the Imja Valley. Day 8 Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m/16,109ft) - 5-6 hours trek
  • Highlights: Trek along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Pass by the yak pastures and the Everest Memorial at Thukla Pass, commemorating climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Description: The terrain becomes more rugged and the altitude starts to feel more significant. The Everest Memorial is a poignant reminder of the challenges of high-altitude mountaineering.

Day 9 Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m/16,864ft) & Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) - 6-7 hours trek
  • Highlights: Trek to Gorakshep, the last village before Everest Base Camp. Hike to Everest Base Camp, stand at the foot of the world's highest mountain, and witness the Khumbu Icefall. Description: This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding day. The trek to EBC takes you across rocky terrain and glacial moraine. The views of Everest and the surrounding peaks are simply breathtaking.

Day 10 Hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,209ft) & Trek down to Pheriche (4,240m/13,911ft) - 7-8 hours trek
  • Highlights: Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for the most iconic panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori at sunrise. Descend to Pheriche for the night. Description: The climb to Kala Patthar is steep but the reward is unparalleled. Witnessing the sunrise over Everest is an unforgettable experience. The descent to Pheriche aids in recovery at a lower altitude.

Day 11 Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft) - 5-6 hours trek
  • Highlights: Trek back down through the valley, enjoying the changing landscapes and the familiar surroundings. Description: The descent is easier on the lungs but can be tough on the knees. Enjoy the views from a different perspective as you retrace your steps.

Day 12 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft) - 6-7 hours trek
  • Highlights: The final day of trekking, retracing your steps back to Lukla. Celebrate your achievement with your trekking team.

    • Description: This is a longer day of trekking, mostly downhill. Reflect on your incredible journey as you return to the starting point.
Day 14 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593ft)
  • Highlights: Enjoy a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Relax at your hotel and reminisce about your trek. Description: The flight back offers one last glimpse of the majestic Himalayas. Enjoy a well-deserved rest in Kathmandu.

Day 15 Departure from Kathmandu
