Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, and Pre-trip meeting.

  • Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Relax Getaways will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Later in the day, we will hold a pre-trip meeting at your hotel where your tour and trekking guide will be introduced. This is a chance for you to ask any questions about the upcoming trip and receive a final briefing. If you are unable to attend due to a late arrival, kindly notify us in advance.

Day 2

A full day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley.

  • One can get a panoramic view of the valley from the top of a hillock located on the western side of Swayambhu, also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple due to the presence of numerous monkeys on the premises.

It was built in the 5th century and is adorned with four pairs of Lord Buddha's eyes, one in each cardinal direction, keeping a constant watch over the people and their actions. Visitors will often see Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet circumambulating the stupa while spinning prayer wheels.

Day 3

Drive to Chitwan from Kathmandu: 160 km/ 6-7 hours’ drive

  • After having breakfast early in the morning, you will embark on a drive to Chitwan. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be greeted by a hotel representative who will provide you with a detailed schedule of activities that you will be participating in during your stay in Chitwan.
    Activities in Chitwan Includes: - Lunch followed by a tour of Tharu village and the park visitor center - Sunset view from Rapti River, dinner & cultural program.

Day 4

Full Day Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park.

  • Get wake-up call from the staff and have breakfast before preparing for the jeep safari tour. After lunch, you will take a traditional dug-out canoe for a serene trip along the Rapti River, observing aquatic birds and the wildlife on the riverbanks. You will also visit the elephant breeding center to gain knowledge about these fascinating animals. In the evening, you'll have the chance to watch the cultural program of the local Tharu tribe.
    Activities in Chitwan includes Canoeing & jungle walk or a visit to the elephant breeding center. Lunch is followed by a jeep safari with evening entertainment.

Day 5

Drive to Pokhara from Chitwan: 150 km/6-7 hours’ drive.

  • Following breakfast, depart from Chitwan to reach Pokhara, famously known as The Lake City due to the abundance of lakes in the area. The initial part of the journey will take you through subtropical jungles and fertile vegetation. However, as you leave Chitwan, the landscape transforms, and you'll begin to see hills, small settlements, and terraced farms. As soon as you arrive in Pokhara, the stunning lake city, you'll be greeted with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna, and others. After checking in to the hotel, take some rest, or wander through the streets of Pokhara, enjoying the charm of one of Nepal's most beautiful cities.

    Gupteshwor Cave: Located just 2 km away from the Pokhara airport, the Gupteshwor Cave is a revered site. The entrance to the cave is situated opposite Devi's fall, and it spans almost 3 km in length, featuring several large chamber-like areas and narrow passageways that require crawling on all fours. For Hindus, this cave holds immense significance as it houses a phallic emblem of Lord Shiva in its original condition, which was discovered here

  • Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple

    Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple: Located at an elevation of 800m above sea level, this lake is the second largest in the kingdom. The Barahi Island Temple, situated in the center of the lake, is the most significant religious structure in Pokhara.
