Itinerary

1. Departure from Marrakech

Meet your guide at Koutoubia Mosque at 8:00 AM. Board your comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for the scenic 2.5-hour drive to Essaouira along the Atlantic coast road.

2. Arrival & Essaouira Medina

Enter the UNESCO-listed Medina through the famous Bab Doukkala gate. Explore the blue and white painted streets, artisan woodwork shops, and jewelry souks with your guide.

3. Skala de la Ville – Sea Ramparts

Walk the impressive 18th-century sea ramparts with stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean. A must-see and a perfect photo opportunity!

4. Essaouira Fishing Port

Visit the colorful working fishing port, one of Morocco's most active. Watch local fishermen bring in their catch and enjoy the authentic atmosphere.

5. Free Time for Lunch & Beach

Enjoy free time to have lunch at a local seafood restaurant (not included) and take a stroll along Essaouira's famous Atlantic beach.

6. Return to Marrakech

Depart Essaouira at approximately 5:00 PM and arrive back in Marrakech around 7:00 PM.

Please Note

  • This tour involves walking on cobblestone streets in the Essaouira Medina for approximately 3–4 hours. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
  • Essaouira is known as the "Wind City" — even in summer it can be windy and cool by the ocean. A light jacket or scarf is recommended.
  • Modest dress is appreciated when visiting the Medina out of respect for local culture.
  • Participants with food allergies should inform us before the tour.
  • The tour departs promptly at 8:00 AM — please arrive 10 minutes early at Koutoubia Mosque.
  • This is a small group tour with a maximum of 8 people for a more personal experience.
