Itinerary

Stop 1

Your day begins with a pickup directly from your hotel in Agadir — if your accommodation is not directly accessible, we will arrange a convenient meeting point just a short walk away. Your dedicated local driver and tour companion will take you north along the Atlantic coast on an approximately 20-minute drive to Taghazout — one of the most legendary surf villages in the world and one of the most beautiful and authentically Moroccan communities on the entire coast.

Taghazout sits on a rocky headland above the Atlantic Ocean, its white and blue houses cascading down to a beach of golden sand where the waves roll in from the open ocean in perfect sets. For decades it has attracted surfers from around the world — drawn first by the extraordinary quality of the waves and then by the village itself, which has managed to retain a warmth, simplicity and genuine Moroccan character that most coastal towns have long since lost.

Your companion will introduce you to Taghazout properly — not as a tourist attraction but as a living village community. You will walk the narrow streets above the sea, visit the fishing harbour where the boats come in each morning, meet the local fishermen and browse the small market stalls where the daily life of the village unfolds. Your companion will share the story of how this tiny fishing village became one of the world's great surf destinations without losing the soul that made it special in the first place.

The beaches around Taghazout are extraordinary — Anchor Point, Panorama, Hash Point and the main Taghazout beach itself offer some of the finest surf conditions in Morocco, with consistent Atlantic swells that work from September through to April and beyond. Whether you are an experienced surfer, a complete beginner or simply someone who loves the ocean, your companion will take you to the right spot for your level and interest.

If you wish to surf, your companion can arrange a surf lesson or board rental with one of the trusted local surf schools on the day — this is available at an additional cost and your companion will organise everything for you. If you simply want to swim, watch the surfers, walk the beaches and soak up one of the most beautiful and atmospheric stretches of Atlantic coast in Morocco, this day delivers all of that in abundance.

Lunch is at one of the wonderful rooftop cafes or beachside restaurants in Taghazout — your companion will recommend the best spots for fresh fish, Moroccan salads and the most spectacular views over the ocean — lunch is at your own expense.

In the afternoon your companion takes you to Paradise Valley — a dramatic palm-lined gorge carved into the Atlas foothills approximately 40 km from Taghazout, where a crystal-clear river tumbles over ancient rocks into a series of natural swimming pools of extraordinary beauty. The walk into the valley takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes on a well-worn path and the pools at the bottom are perfect for swimming, sunbathing and simply being somewhere completely beautiful and completely peaceful.

Your companion then drives you back to Agadir in the early evening, dropping you off at your hotel.
