Chefchaouen Full Day Trip from Fes : Blue City and Mountain Drive

Your day begins with a pickup directly from your hotel or riad in Fes — if your accommodation is inside the medina and vehicles cannot access it, we will arrange a meeting point just a short walk away. Your dedicated local driver and tour companion will take you on an approximately 3-hour drive west through the beautiful Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen — one of the most iconic and photographed cities in all of Morocco.

Nestled in the folds of the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is famous for its medina of blue-washed alleyways, archways and staircases that seem to glow in the mountain light. Your companion will guide you through the winding streets of the old city, sharing the history and stories behind this extraordinary place — a town founded by Moorish exiles in the 15th century and home to a culture as rich and layered as its famous blue walls.

You will have free time to explore the souks, visit the central Plaza Uta el-Hammam, photograph the famous blue alleys at your own pace and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the medina — lunch is at your own expense and your companion will recommend the best spots.

In the afternoon your companion will drive you back through the Rif Mountains to Fes, arriving in the early evening, and drop you off directly at your hotel or riad.
