Itinerary
Stop 1
(we start our tour at) Meeting place is at the memorial consisting of 4 granite cubes, at the corner of the Old Palace (Alte Schloss) and "Plaine", next to the Karlsplatz. -
Stop 2
Named in the honor of the great German poet, philosopher, historian, and dramatist “Friedrich Schiller”, this square is located centrally in the old city. It is also surrounded by the Collegiate Church and the Fruchtkasten building (which houses the Ministry of Justice and the Old Chancellery. Also, get to know the highlights of Marktplatz with the main focus on how the food & wine impacted in shaping the region.
Stop 3
Right at the Schlossplatz, the largest square; Enjoy some local specialities and traditional “viertel” of wine offered at the Alte Kanzlei.
Stop 4
We next move to the 300 year old orphanage which is a stop for the locally- brewed beer or if desired we can stop at a modern local brewery instead.
Stop 5
The Bean Quarter (also known as “Bohnenviertel”) is a relic of the historic Stuttgart. This place features shops unlike from those in the city centre. Those who are intrigue towards, restaurants and pubs must definitely discover this place.
Stop 6
Also, know as the Broom inn, if time permits, we can end our tour with a luncheon or dinner here. The Besenwirtschaft is a type of wine tavern in the areas of winegrowing. In here, they sell their own wine directly to the public.
