Markthalle Stuttgart
Vienna City Hall is the seat of local government, located on Rathausplatz in the Innere Stadt district.
The Stiftskirche is an inner-city church.. It is the main church of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Württemberg as well as the parish church of the evangelical inner-city church district of Stuttgart.
Karlsplatz is a town square on the border of the first and fourth districts of Vienna. It is one of the most frequented and best-connected transportation hubs in Vienna. The Karlskirche is located here.
Markthalle Stuttgart
The ancient gathering place “Marktplatz” and town hall (Rathaus).
Originated from the year 1304, the marketplace is situated in front of the city hall. After the destruction from the Second World War, this square was rebuilt at the request of Lord Mayor.
Located centrally in the city, Markthalle is an Art Nouveau building. Consisting of a hall which is 60 meters long and 25 meters wide, this food paradise consists of 33 different stalls with numerous service providers and dealers.
Named in the honor of the great German poet, philosopher, historian, and dramatist “Friedrich Schiller”, this square is located centrally in the old city. It is also surrounded by the Collegiate Church and the Fruchtkasten building (which houses the Ministry of Justice and the Old Chancellery.
Constructed between 1746 and 1807, this is the largest square. Until the mid-1800s, it was used for military training purposes as a parade ground and was not available for public use. It transformed into a public property in 1918.
The Old castle from the 10th Century which was once the residence of the Counts and later, the Dukes of Wurttemberg is now serving as the home of the Landesmuseum Wurttemberg. The church inside the castle is still an active place of worship.
The Bean Quarter (also known as “Bohnenviertel”) is a relic of the historic Stuttgart. This place features shops unlike from those in the city centre. Those who are intrigue towards, antiques, jewellery and craft and like to survey secondhand bookstores, must definitely discover this place.
Around the early 19th century helped promote their unique brew. Their competitors included of the local inns and taverns, therefore, they were permitted only to serve beer but not the food.

The wings of the New castle (Neues Schloss Stuttgart) house the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Housing.

The three-branch theatre complex (opera. Playhouse and ballet) is the largest theatre in Europe. Further, during the era of Opera, the company “Klaus Zehelein” won the Opera House of the Year several times.

The Carl Zeiss Planetarium Stuttgart is located in the Mittlerer Schlossgarten. In addition to the actual planetarium, the Planetarium Stuttgart also operates the Welzheim Observatory.
