Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m) Warm welcome, airport pickup, and trek briefing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Drive to Beni (850m) – 8–9 hrs

A scenic drive via Pokhara to the riverside town of Beni. Camp near the Kali Gandaki River.
Day 3 Trek to Dunai (2,140m) via Tarakot – Jeep-assisted

Transfer by local jeep to Tarakot, then begin walking to Dunai, the district headquarters of Dolpo.
Day 4 Trek to Chhepka (2,720m) – 6–7 hrs

Trek along the Suli Ghad River inside Shey Phoksundo National Park. Lush forested paths.
Day 5 Trek to Jharana Hotel (3,370m) – 5 hrs

Pass waterfalls and wild canyons and reach the magnificent Jharana (waterfall) viewpoint.
Day 6 Trek to Phoksundo Lake (3,611m) – 4 hrs

Arrive at the turquoise Phoksundo Lake, one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the world.
Day 7 Acclimatization & Exploration Day

Visit Ringmo village and ancient Bon monasteries, and walk around the lakeshore.
Day 8 Trek to Sallaghari (3,630m) – 5–6 hrs

Enter rugged Dolpo terrain. Camp in pine forests with snowy cliffs
Day 9 Trek to Nangdala High Camp (4,700m) – 5 hrs

A slow ascent to high camp beneath Nangdala Pass, surrounded by wilderness.
Day 10 Cross Nangdala Pass (5,350m), trek to Shey Gompa (4,300m) – 7–8 hrs

Cross the first major pass with breathtaking views. Visit the legendary Shey Gompa, spiritual heart of Dolpo.
Day 11 Trek to Namgung (4,430m) – 5 hrs

A cultural walk through barley fields and ancient red-and-gold monasteries.
Day 12 Trek to Saldang (4,030m) – 5 hrs

Enter the windswept Saldang Valley, rich in Tibetan culture and salt-trade history.
Day 13 Trek to Khoma Gaon (4,200m) – 6 hrs

Pass multiple traditional villages with mani walls and chortens. Homestay or camp.
Day 14 Trek to Shimen (3,850m) – 5 hrs

Continue along ancient caravan trails. Scenic camp near riverbank.
Day 15 Trek to Tinje Gaon (4,150m) – 5 hrs

A picturesque valley with traditional architecture and open alpine pastures.
Day 16 Trek to Yak Kharka (4,000m) – 5 hrs

Remote yak pasturelands. Spot herds and rest near grazing fields.
Day 17 Cross Chhoila Pass (5,050m), camp at Tokyu (4,200m) – 7 hrs

Tough but rewarding day with stunning panoramic views.
Day 18 Trek to Dho Tarap (4,040m) – 3 hrs

Easy day into Dho Tarap, one of the highest permanent settlements in the world.
Day 19 Trek to Tarakot (2,540m) – 6–7 hrs

Descend gradually through gorge trails and lush valleys.
Day 20 Drive to Juphal, fly to Nepalgunj, then to Kathmandu

Long travel day by jeep and flights. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.
Day 21 Buffer/Contingency Day rest and relaxing in kathmandu

Spare day in case of flight delays. Enjoy local city sights or rest.
