🏁 Tour Itinerary: Classic Beijing Tour with 4 Star Hotel
Day 1 – Arrival in Beijing – Airport Pickup – Hotel Transfer
On the first day of your arrival in Beijing, you will be greeted by your driver or guide who shall take you to your hotel so you can rest from your flight and get ready to see the beauty of Beijing! The process of getting out of your airport and going to your hotel may take time and can wear you down, therefore you have the rest of your first day to yourself to do as you please.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Beijing Wanshang or similar
Day 2 – Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven Day Tour (B, L)
Today is the beginning of your visit to the historic places and monuments of Beijing right after a buffet breakfast at the hotel. The very first place to go is Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest square, and a must-see in Beijing. Right in front of the square is The Forbidden City, an Imperial city built during the Ming Dynasty. The third must-see of Beijing is the Temple of Heaven but before that, you will have lunch and get authentic Chinese food at a very nice restaurant in Beijing. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to see an exciting Chinese Kung Fu Show and after it, we will take you to the hotel to finish your day.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Beijing Wanshang or similar
Day 3 – The Unique Experience of Hiking on the Great Wall of China (B, L)
You shall have a western buffet breakfast at the very beginning of your day before heading out to one of the seven wonders of the world; The Great Wall of China. You will be taken to some of the most famous sections of the wall which will be decided on by your guide, making sure you will not face traffic or too much crowd; namely the Mutianyu section of the great wall, or Badaling Great Wall. You will then get the opportunity to take cable cars to go up, and use toboggan to slide down, or just hike all the way. Once finished, it is time for some amazing Chinese food in a very high-quality buffet in Jade Factory. The last place to see on your third day is the Summer Palace and then you can have a relaxing experience during a Tea Ceremony just before heading back to the hotel. The possible optional tours will be introduced on each tour and you can ask any questions you may have about them.
🏚️ Hotel Option: Mercure Beijing Wanshang or similar
Day 4 – Departure from Beijing (B)
On the final day of your Beijing tour, you shall check out of your hotel after breakfast, and thereafter you can plan to catch your flight according to your schedule. It is very easy to get a ride to your next destination. You can simply ask your hotel reception to call a taxi for you. It is both fast and economic. You can head straight to the Beijing Capital Airport; or if you have some free time, you can see a little more of Beijing on your own but be sure to keep an eye on the clock as you will not be accompanied by your guide. It is always suggested to ask all your questions from your guide to making sure you will have no problems getting home. We wish you a good time in Beijing and hope to see you again.

The tour was amazing, especially because everything was according to the plan and we visited all the places included in the tour (even though we went there in autumn, which makes it difficult to see everything because of the peak season). The flight was good, the bus was OK, and the hotel was just as I hoped, which was pretty worth a shot! Everyone from the guide to the bellboy and the driver were cool people. As for Beijing itself, it is MASSIVE but also amazing. If you are a travel lover, don’t miss it! You can always go on your own, but I suggest a tour like this one, at least for the first time.

I used to go to china for my business but taking a tour as a tourist was a new experience. Visiting the forbidden city and the great wall was an amazing experience. The folklore is so rich and interesting, the city is full of color and full of life. I’ll go there again and this time with my kids! I’m not going to say it was extraordinary; but experiencing this tour is great compared to the prices.

First, if you are traveling to China with your family, always take a tour. Second, never go there in summer if you can’t stand the heat! 4 days was good, but the more you stay, the better. There are a lot of places to see, and the more time you have, the more you can enjoy. The tour was good and it’s worth giving it a try

I enjoyed seeing all the sights in Beijing. I wish they switched the order of the days. on the first day, we did Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Kung Fu Show. on the last day, we did the hutongs of Beijing. Since most people had just arrived in China the day before, we had major jet lag, so fell asleep during the Kung Fu show (which was actually very entertaining). Our tour guide also smoked on the job, which I found very unprofessional.

Great tour. Covered all the main attractions in Beijing and of course the Great Wall. Mario did an excellent job. Highly recommended

I loved it and the cultural sightseeing and the experience. The fact that we were picked up and guided made it possible for us to come as a family. Thank you.

I’ve been to Beijing before but this was exceptional since it was the first time with a great tour and a guide. The city has a lot of fantastic places to visit and it’s easy to get lost, especially if you don’t know where to go and how to get there.

Great tour from start to finish – Michael is a fantastic guide, very knowledgable and helpful! Beijing is such a big city, with sites quite spread out so this tour is perfect to make sure you don’t miss out!

Honestly, when I saw the price, I thought it would be cheap; but it was rather good as a whole. You can always take a short trip and get to see the Great Wall and most of the attractions but with 4 days and a guide, it can be much more pleasant. It’s not Paris but still a very beautiful destination.

My wife had a hard time eating chines but the tour and the city were just amazing! I would recommend Beijing and this tour anytime. Just make sure you have no problems with chines food and you will be OK.
Jennifer –
Amazing trip, tour guides provide a brief history of the significance of each landmark which was insightful. Tick off most of Beijing in a short time without feeling too exhausted. Definitely worth booking.

It was good as a whole but the down part was transportation and all the traffic in the city. Of course, you really can’t do much about traffic :(. The food was great! The locals were good, the guide was OK but the city was extremely crowded!
