🏁 Tour Itinerary: 6 Days Around El Salvador

Day 1: Arrival in El Salvador

Arrival in El Salvador transfer to Hotel. At night we suggest visiting one of the entertainment areas such as Multiplaza, Gran Via or Paseo El Carmen. Accommodation in San Salvador.

 

Day 2: San Salvador (B)

Morning visit of the capital  including  residential areas of Santa Elena,  Zona Rosa,  Salvador del mundo plaza,   roosvelt avenue,  the city center , national palace, Monseñor Romero memorial, Plaza Libertad, El Rosario. Free time for lunch and then to the National Museum where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the pre-Columbian, colonial past until you reach the current era. Back to the hotel.

 

Day 3: Museo Tesak – Joya De Ceren – Tazumal – Ataco (B)

In the morning departure to the west of the country visit the best private archeology museum in the region Tesak Museum, you will also learn how this foundation has promoted the culture among rural communities in the country, after visit the unique Joya de Ceren, a Maya village that was covered by the ash from a nearby volcano, then you will continue for lunch overlooking Coatepeque lake (not included),  during the afternoon visit the highest pyramid in the country Tazumal and museum, ending your day at Ataco.

 

Day 4: Ataco – Thermal Waters – Ataco (B)

At mid-morning take a walking tour to a coffee process plant where you will see and learn about the coffee process day continue to Ataco where you will visit a coffee farm. If you like panoramic views you can walk on your own the 100 stairs to the clouds for a beautiful view of the mountains. During the afternoon enjoy a visit to the thermal waters.

 

Day 5: Ataco – Nahuizalco – Cerro Verde (B)

Breakfast.  On route, you will visit the village of Nahuizalco part of the coffee and flower route, then continue to Izalco for a brief visit of this historic town, and then continue to the beautiful park of Cerro Verde where you will have a walk around the rim of an extinct volcano, enjoy the fresh air and the views of the amazing Izalco, Santa Ana, and Coatepeque lake, the walk is good for most of the visitors. Free time to snack on return overlooking the lake.

 

Day 6: Departure Day (B)

Breakfast. Free time until transfer to airport or Bus station. End of our services.
