This safari takes you to the most famous national parks where you will have a chance to track the primates in Uganda. These include Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorillas, Kibale national park for Chimps, and Queen Elizabeth National Park for Wildlife Viewing.

🏁 Tour Itinerary: 9-Day Uganda Wildlife Safaris – Gorillas & Chimpanzee

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Entebbe airport where you will be welcomed by a safari guide from our company and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer To Kibale National Park

Early in the morning, we will depart the capital and head to Kibale National Park. This place is famous for its famous tea plantations. On arrival, you will check-in at your lodge and proceed for a nature walk in the evening where you will search for the bush babies, pottos, and other nocturnal animals.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Village Visit

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will have a guided walk in the tropical rain forest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red tailored monkey, black and white colobus monkey, and many more. Immediately after lunch, we transfer to Bigodi Village for a totally different walk to view many bird species and many other attractions.

Day 4: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, we shall calmly transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park as we pass the crater lakes areas, beautiful landscape with small lakes, and rolling hills. Have lunch and relax before going for a game drive in search of the wildlife, including the warthogs, buffalos, waterbucks, and elephants. Experience.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. We search for the lions, elephants, buffalos, and many other wildlife species in their natural habitat before returning for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, we shall proceed for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will view many water animals as well as birds.

Day 6: Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Breakfast early in the morning, and after start your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will pass via Ishasha Sector where you will have a chance to view the tree-climbing lions and many other species. Later in the evening, you will arrive at the park and check in as you enjoy the traditional homesteads of the local people in Bwindi.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking

This is the highlight of the safari, have briefing early enough and after proceed to the park to search for the mountain gorillas. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play, and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, we depart the park back towards the capital city. Look out for zebras and Impalas as the road leads us through the protected area of Lake Mburo National Park and take some photos of the Uganda Equator. With lunch en-route, we will arrive in Entebbe in the evening.

Day 9: Departure

This day is reserved for your flight back home from Uganda.

Terms & Conditions

All confirmed clients are required to make a 20% non refundable booking fee which is used to confirm their booking for example reserving and purchasing of Gorilla permits, hotel reservation etc. And all other payments for the trip are required to be made before the date of the trip though for special cases one can confirm and pays on arrival.

Clients planning on cancelling are advised to contact the booking office for cancelation at least 14 days before their trip. Those who cancel 7 days to the trip will be entitled to 50% refund of the full payment they made for the trip and clients who cancel after 7 days to their trip say 3 days to the trip there will be no refund. Those who cancel a month before or 14 days before their trip will receive full refund exclusive of the 20% booking confirmation fees.
