Day 1: Naples Sightseeing and Pizza

Go to Rome Central Station (Termini Station) on your own.
Catch the high-speed train from Rome to Naples (1-hour trip)
At Naples Central Station meet your driver who will show you the highlights of the city. You will see all the panoramic stops and the monumental area, such as the Royal Palace, Piazza del Plebiscito, San Carlo’s Theatre, Umberto I Gallery, Castel dell Ovo, the hill of Posillipo, and much more.
Enjoy a lunch stop in an authentic wood oven pizzeria to taste the original Neapolitan Pizza Margherita.
Drop off in a pretty 4-star hotel in Pompeii (close to the archaeological area).

Day 2: Pompeii and Herculaneum Walking Tour Led by an Archaeologist (B)

Enjoy a fantastic full-day walking tour in Pompeii and Herculaneum led by an archaeologist guide.
Meet your guide at the Pompeii ruins main entrance called PORTA MARINA SUPERIORE.
Start the tour in Pompeii in a 2-hour visit where you will see the main highlights of the ancient city.
Get some free time by having a quick lunch stop.
Catch with your guide the local Circumvesuviana train to go to Herculaneum (about 20 minutes ride).
Start the tour in Herculaneum in a 2-hour visit where you will see the main highlights of the site.
At the end of the visit go back to your hotel in Pompeii on your own by catching a Circumvesuviana train.

Day 3: Full Day Amalfi Coast Excursion (B)

Experience the Amalfi drive!
The driver will pick you up at your hotel in a modern minivan.
First stop in the charming town of Positano: visit by your own the beach, the medieval alleys, and the Church of S. Maria Assunta.
Panoramic stop in Conca dei Marini.
Stop in Amalfi where you can see Flavio Gioia Square, St. Andrew cathedral, the Arsenale, the medieval alleys.
Your last visit will head you to Ravello where you will have a visit with entrance fees included at the stunning Villa Rufolo, a choreographed set of buildings of two-fourteenth-century origin, immersed in incredibly Varied and luxuriant vegetation.
Drop off at your accommodation in Pompeii.

Day 4: Mount Vesuvius Half Day Excursion (B)

Pick up at your accommodation in Pompeii by the driver.
Transfer to the Mount Vesuvius. Climb the crater (20 minutes hike, self-guided). Experience the emotion of looking inside a Volcano, and enjoy amazing views on the bay of Naples and the island of Capri.
At the end of the visit to the volcano, the driver will drop you off at Naples Central Station where you will take a high-speed train to Rome Termini.
