💎 Why we love it ?
Gokyo Ri Trek takes you to the top of Gokyo Ri mountain and the Gokyo valley. Gokyo Ri Trek is one of the less strenuous treks in the Everest region, starting with a flight to Lukla. On your first day of trekking, you are heading to Phakding followed by the zestful Namche Bazar in the second. Here, you can visit the Sherpa museum to experience the Sherpa culture to the fullest in your acclimatization break. After spending a day at Namche, we move on to Dole, then to Machhermo, and finally to Gokyo.

Outdoor Himalayan exceeded my expectations and gave me the best start to my visit in Nepal. When I first contacted them to put the trip together they got back to me right away with all of the trip information and continued to answer all of my questions in the months leading up to my departure, including booking me an extra night at the hotel when I changed my flight schedule. I was traveling alone, just having graduated college and Outdoor Himalayan, specifically my guide Krishna did everything possible to make my experience unforgettable. From playing cards to agreeing to hike extra miles when I didn’t feel like stopping, to setting the pace to allowing me to set the pace to being flexible about our itinerary, Krishna was not just my guide, he was me trekking partner. The tea houses we stayed at were clean and had the amenities needed to feel at home while also feeling like a trekker in the gorgeous remote villages. I highly recommend both the gokyo trek and guide Krishna from Outdoor Himalayan to anyone who wishes to go on the adventure of a lifetime
