๐Ÿ Tour Itinerary: US Southwest National Parks Tour From Las Vegas

Day 1: Zion National Park

Leaving the bright lights of Las Vegas behind us for a while we head out to Utahโ€™s finest National Park. Massive canyon walls and red sandstone cliffs ascend toward a brilliant blue sky. Challenge yourself to whatโ€™s considered the best half-day hike in the southwest by hiking a narrow ridgeline to Angels Landing. Take it easy exploring the pristine Emerald pools or enjoy a river hike deep in the narrows.

๐Ÿš๏ธ Hotel Option: Bumbleberry Inn or similar.

Day 2: Bryce National Park (B)

A short drive today takes us to an elevation of 8000 ft. into Bryce National Park. Take a stroll along the rim and marvel at the unique sandstone spires (hoodoos) that rise dramatically from the natural amphitheater. Hike down into the hoodoos for an up-close and personal experience with this fascinating landscape. A soak in the outdoor hot tub back at camp will ease those hiking muscles and a night around the campfire will end this day nicely.

๐Ÿš๏ธ Hotel Option: Best Western or similar.

Day 3 & 4: Arches and Canyonlands National Parks (B)

Explore this stunning landscape in a guided sunset hummer tour or hang of a sandstone cliff on one of our optional canyoneering adventures! Visit Arches National Park home to over 2000 arches for a hike up to Delicate Arch. Enjoy walks in Canyonlands National Park where the Green river meets Colorado in some of the most spectacular scenery the southwest has to offer. Swap tales of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid who used the canyons to hide from the law in the late 1800s, visit the local town and enjoy Utahโ€™s greatest adventure capital.

๐Ÿš๏ธ Hotel Option: Best Western or similar 2 nights.

Day 5: Monument Valley (B)

Headed south we wind our way through more of USA Southwestโ€™s spectacular scenery to one of the most iconic locations on the planet. The background for many famous western movies and home to the Navajo Indians you are in for a real treat today. Hop onboard a 4X4 jeep and enjoy an included Navajo guided tour of Monument Valley. Camp right along the rim, get ready to gaze up at the amazing starry skies, and bag your front-row seat to a magnificent sunrise.

๐Ÿš๏ธ Hotel Option: Historic Gouldings Lodge.

Day 6: Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Grand Canyon National Park South Rim (B)

Enjoy an optional visit to the worldโ€™s most famous slot canyon- Antelope Canyon ($60-$70 pp) this morning followed by a scenic walk to view Horseshoe Bend before heading to the Grand Canyon Saving the best for last! After a brief visit to a Navajo trading post, we follow the mighty Colorado River through the painted desert to one of the seven natural wonders of the world! Take in a birdโ€™s eye view on an optional helicopter ride, stroll along the rim at sunset, take a hike into one of the deepest and most diverse canyons on earth or simply relax in one of the rim cafรฉs and admire the view before one last campfire.

๐Ÿš๏ธ Hotel Option: Red Feather Inn or similar.

Day 7: Las Vegas (B)

We get our kicks at Route 66 and arrive back in Sin City in plenty of time to relax poolside before heading for the strip for a night out. Tour ends at approx 5 pm.

7 days SW Highlights tour Seeing these natural wonders were awe inspiring on their own and Bindlestiff, with the help of our guide, Joel, made it even more fun with his expert knowledge of the parks and hiking. As a first time solo traveler and an occasional hiker from Florida with no elevation, I was afraid that I would be left behind or hold everyone up, but, Joel made sure that I was comfortably going on my own pace and was always welcomed and included by my awesome trip buddies. A+

Solo Trip during COVID I had an amazing time on this tour! Everything was organized very well and I had an action packed week. The tour guide, Chris, knew all the parks like the back of his hand and pointed us to the best trails and went with us when he could onto the trails. We had our tents bc of COVID which was nice, but not everyone wore their masks in the car. However, masks and hand sanitizers were always provided and you can follow along in your own car if you don’t want to be in the van. Overall, I felt safe and had a great time on this trip and would totally recommend this tour!

A story for every awe inspired landscape My 7-days SW tour was everything you could ask for and more. It was amazing. Joel was a knowledgeable, patient, entertaining, helpful guide. He had interesting and delightful stories for every site. It brought life to every landscape. Our group was only 4 travelers and I enjoyed each one of them. I appreciated the optional activities such as canyoneering, (I went repelling for the first time). Bindlestiff and Joel did everything in their power to make our trip wonderful. SW USA is a wonderland like no other and I am so glad I took this tour. I would highly recommend it. I look forward to another trip with Bindlestiff in the near future.

Southwest Highlights! I cannot say enough good things about this tour group and our guide Joel. In these uncertain times, they were attentive to all concerns. Prompt on all e-mails and worked with us on changes to itinerary. Joel was wonderful guide. Hard working, knowledgeable and THOUGHTFUL! He even got my husband a birthday cake! We are a couple in our 60’s and we travel all over the world. Our anniversary/birthday trip to Italy was cancelled this was Plan B. Exceeded our expectations! Wear your mask, wash your hands, be considerate of others space, but GO. Go see the world and call Bindlestiff to plan where!
