💎 Why we love it ?

If visiting Greece has been a lifetime goal of yours but you’re not into touristy activities and overcrowded places -hey, no one can blame you, especially in post-coronavirus times- then all you have to do is join us for a multi-day trip across the undisclosed spots of Athens, the Peloponnese, and the most beautiful islands of the Argosaronic Sea. Spend your time in Greece like a local, full of original experiences and protected from the tourist traps that try to lure you in.

🏁 Tour Itinerary: Argosaronic Escapade – Trip to Athens, Peloponnese, Spetses & Aegina

Day 1 – 2: Athens

Welcome to Athens! Enjoy a comfortable drive from the airport to your accommodation, and after settling in and freshening up, get the first taste of Greece -literally. Walk around some of Athens’ highlights during twilight and let your first night in Greece come to a close with a welcome dinner at a local tavern!
Wake up early the next morning and seize the day with a tour that will take you around the top sights and districts of Athens, showing you the absolute must-see attractions of Greece’s capital in just 7 hours. Begin with an all-encompassing tour of the majestic Acropolis and the modern Acropolis Museum, and continue by exploring the historic city center, visiting the most-talked-about spots of Athens, such as the emblematic Syntagma Square, the vibrant Monastiraki Square, the Panathenaic Stadium, and the picturesque neighborhood of Plaka, among others.

Day 3: Loutraki

On the third day of your trip, you’ll be transferred by your private, luxury vehicle to Loutraki, a seaside resort on the Gulf of Corinth, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a free day at the beach on the famous lake Vouliagmeni; time to bask in the bright sun and get the tan you’ve been dreaming about for months! Following your swimming endeavors, it’s time to visit Iraion, northwest of Loutraki, where the ruins of the famous sanctuary of Hera are preserved. After getting your dose of Greek history and culture for the day, your evening will be filled with delicious cocktails before heading to Nafplio, where you will spend the night.

Day 4 – 5: Mycenae – Nafplio

Waking up in the most romantic city in Greece, the 4th day of your trip will give you the opportunity to explore the mesmerizing region of Mycenae. Meet your licensed guide and take a tour around the extraordinary archaeological site that used to be the kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. After Mycenae, a Nafplio walking tour will help you experience the true beauty of Nafplio’s scenic streets that carry beauty as much as they carry history, before indulging in a flavorful Greek liquor-tasting in the evening.
On day 5, it’s time to lay back and enjoy a completely free day in Nafplio and the popular beach of Tolo, the little seaside city right next to Nafplio, known for its long, sandy coast, perfect for a long walk, sunbathing, or a dive in its sparkling blue-green waters. The choice is yours!

Day 6 – 8: Spetses

Let your private driver take you from Nafplio to Epidaurus and start your day with a guided tour around the historic region that hosts the world-famous Epidaurus Theater. From there, a 1,5-hour drive will take you to the port of Kosta, where you’ll hop on a ferry for a 5-minute trip to the magical island of Spetses. The rest of the day will be free for you to familiarize yourself with the scenic island!
The following morning, set on a cycling tour that will take you around the whole island on a scenic route. If you’re visiting the island with a large group of people, you can also indulge yourself and your loved ones in an all-inclusive cruise to Vathi Avlaki and Monemvasia. Soak in luxury and cruise along the coastline of eastern Peloponnese, from the isolated beach of Vathi Avlaki to the enchanting medieval town of Monemvasia; this will surely be a day to remember!
For day 8, a day trip to Hydra is due! As soon as you step foot on its scenic port, experience the magic of a place where no means of transportation is allowed and join a 1,5-hour walking tour that will introduce you to Hydra’s history, culture, and architecture, before returning to Spetses at night having gained insight into the Greek island life.

Day 9 – 12: Aegina

The exploration of the Argosaronic continues with you taking the ferry from Spetses to the popular Aegina, where you will have the rest of the day free for exploration. The next day, meet with your guide and set on a private tour around Aegina’s most beautiful spots, the duration of which will be determined by you! From the picturesque village of Pachiarachi to Portes, Agia Marina, the archaeological site of Afaia, Paliachora, the monastery of Chrysoleontissa, and downtown Aegina, in just a few hours, you’ll have experienced everything you need in order to completely fall in love with the island. The traditional dinner at the end of the tour, full of local flavors, won’t hurt either!
On the penultimate day of your trip, you can opt for the chance to spend a full day in the sea and customize your itinerary to include the places you want to visit the most! Cruise along the coast of Aegina, visit the islet of Moni, sail to the island of Agistri and swim in waters you thought impossible to exist!
All good thing comes to an end and therefore it is time to bid this magical 12-day trip around Greece goodbye. With a ton of fond memories on your mind, you’ll return from Aegina to the port of Piraeus and farewell our stunning country. See you again soon!

It was fantastic in every way. Our guide was magnificent. So knowledgeable. I don’t think we could have had a better time. If you are only in Athens for a day, this is the way to go. We highly recommend Greeking.me.
    Thank you so much!

A great tour from Eva who is very knowledgeable on the topic of myth and ancient Athens. Her ability to deftly guide our group of 3 through the Acropolis crowds made our visit there worry free. Her insights inside the museum helped us appreciate what we were seeing even more.
