I was expecting a guide throughout the tour and this would have helped with coordination of transfers and hotel check in/out and general queries. The day guides and hotel staff did their best but nobody had overall responsibility and this led to some confusion. I was also expecting to see more of the top sites in Istanbul rather than wandering about experiencing everyday life. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the tour and the Cappadiocia element was a really amazing experience.

This was a wonderful tour. Alp is a truly outstanding guide with rich knowledge of Istanbul, its culture and history. He relates it all in a very engaging way and I felt like he was an old friend by the end. Cappadocia was beautiful in the winter snow! A very well organised trip with a perfect balance of free time and organised schedule. I felt like I was able to explore the hidden gems and backstreets of Istanbul that are off the tourist track. Highly recommended!
