Itinerary

Our first stop is in the center of Heraklion, opposite of old Venetian Loggia and Town Hall of Heraklion. Here you’ll have the opportunity to taste authentic gyros that you never had before in your life.

Step 2

Second stop is at the main park of Heraklion, Theotokopoulos Park to enjoy some cheese and spinach pies in a Cretan pastry shop.

Next we'll visit Agios Minas church

Agios Minas is a historic church and is dedicated to Agios Minas, the patron saint of Heraklion. It is one of the most significant religious landmarks on the island and an important cultural and architectural treasure.

Step 4

Walking through the narrow streets of old city of Heraklion to admire the most historical Venetians and Ottoman
buildings.
The influence of Venetian rule is evident in the architecture of the city. Venetian-style buildings, fountains, and loggias can be spotted throughout Heraklion.

Step 5

It's time to enjoy Greek souvlaki and a beer or wine, next to the central market of Heraklion with local people.
This area is particularly popular with both locals and tourists, creating a lively and energetic vibe.
It's a great place for people-watching and socializing.

Step 6

You couldn't end the tour without tasting the real Greek coffee combined with some more Cretan raki next to Bembo Fountain.
The Bembo Fountain is located at Kornarou Square, right next to the Ottoman Sebil.
This fountain was constructed in 1552 and was the first attempt of the Venetians to supply the city with fresh water.
