Stop 1

This lake is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, particularly during the fall when the foliage is vibrant with autumn colors

One of the highest and one of Japan's three most beautiful waterfalls . The falls are especially breathtaking during the autumn season.

Stop 3

Is said to have the best view in Nikko, you can see all the way across to Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls, and Mount Nantai

This Shrine enshrines the most famous samurai leader Tokugawa Ieyasu. Its carved and brilliantly decorated structures are part of the Shrines and Temples of Nikko UNESCO World Heritage site.

Stop 5

Ranked as one of Japan's three finest bridges. It is said that crossing the bridge will bring good fortune to lovers. According to myth, the bridge was formed in the ancient period when a Buddhist protective deity released two serpents: the sedge that grew out of their backs turned into the foundations of the bridge.

Stop 6

Before being moved to Nikko, the building served initially as the Tokyo residence of a branch of the Tokugawa family and was later temporarily used as the Imperial Palace. In Nikko, it was enlarged into a summer residence and retreat for the Imperial Family.
