Start
Day 1
Drive from Moshi to Machame Gate for registration
Drive from Moshi to Machame Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Machame Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Shira Plateau
Leave the rainforest and continue on an ascending path across the Shira Plateau, offering stunning views of Kibo peak.
Day 3
Trek to Lava Tower (4,630m) for acclimatization, then descend to the beautiful Barranco Camp for the night.
Day 4
Karanga Camp
Climb the Great Barranco Wall, a fun and scenic scramble, then continue to Karanga Camp for lunch and rest.
Day 5
A steady climb through the alpine desert to Barafu Camp (Base Camp). Rest early to prepare for the midnight summit push.
Day 6
Reach the roof of Africa at Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise. Celebrate your success before descending to Mweka Camp.
Day 7
Mweka Gate
A final walk through the forest to Mweka Gate to collect your certificates, followed by a drive back to Moshi.
