Itinerary

Day 1

Chengdu and Giant Buddha

  • Giant panda: Chengdu, hometown of panda, is famous for the protection and breeding of endangered wild animals that are unique to China, including giant pandas and red pandas. It is honored as “the national treasure’s natural paradise and the people’s land of idyllic beauty” for its beautiful environment of overlapping mountains, clean water, lush trees, and chirping birds.

  • The Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71-metre (233 ft) tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803 (during the Tang dynasty), depicting Maitreya. It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan province in China, near the city of Leshan. The stone sculpture faces Mount Emei, with the rivers flowing below its feet. It is the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the world and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world.

Day 2

Mt.Emei (Golden Summit and Wan Nian Temple)

  • Kungfu learing after you waked up in the temple.

    We're gonna take the cable car up to the golden summit after breakfast. At the Golden Summit, the mountain area 3,077 meters above sea level,we could see a 46 meters high bronze Buddha and the Golden Summit is an ideal place to view the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the "Buddhist lights" .

  • After that, we're gonna take the shuttle bus to the Wan Nian temple. After visiting the temples, river, pavilions, lake and monkeys(maybe),we will back to the Bao Guo temple.

    We shall move to a hotel, and have a good rest

  • Bao Guo Temple over night. temple stay is a basic nice clean room but clean public shower and toilet.

Day 3

Tea Plantation and Chengdu

  • We shall leave for tea plantation in an old village on the way back to Chengdu. Up to the Mount and learn how to pick tea, and it’s a great chance that we can visit the local family and see how to make tea by hand.

  • Back to Chengdu at noon, after drop in your hotel. tour is finish.

    and you will have a leisure time in Chengdu.During the free time, it’s easy to have a walk around the people’s park and Jinli street etc...
