Itinerary
Day 1

Welcome to Nepal! Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Trek briefing and gear check in the evening.
Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2
Drive to Machha Khola via Soti Khola (930m)—8–9 hours
Day 3

Follow the Budi Gandaki River through forested trails, ridges, and waterfalls to Jagat, a charming stone village.
Overnight in the teahouse.
Day 4
Pass through small settlements and lush hills, entering the culturally rich Nubri Valley.
Day 5
Highlights: Buddhist mani walls, stone-built villages, cultural transformation

Climb steadily into higher elevations, with stunning views of the mountains and Buddhist mani walls along the way.
Overnight in the teahouse.
Day 6

A short day through rhododendron forests and barley fields to reach Lho with its impressive monastery and Manaslu views.
Overnight in the teahouse.
Day 7

Enter the heart of the Nubri region and settle in the culturally rich village of Samagaun.
Overnight in the teahouse.
Day 8
Acclimatization Day at Samagaun—Hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa
Day 9
Trek to Samdo (3,875 m)—4 hoursA short scenic trek to Samdo, a traditional Tibetan refugee village nestled in the Himalayan wild. Overnight in the teahouse.
Day 10

Optional hike to a high ridge near the Tibet border for incredible views and altitude acclimatization.
Overnight in the teahouse.
Day 11
A slow ascent toward the high camp of Larkya La Pass, with surrounding views of glaciers and high peaks. Overnight in a basic teahouse (limited facilities).
Day 12

Start early to cross the thrilling Larkya La Pass, with jaw-dropping views of Himlung, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II.
Overnight in the teahouse at Bimthang.
Day 13
Descend through pine and rhododendron forests into more temperate landscapes and thriving villages.
Day 14
A short trek to Dharapani, then drive through winding mountain roads back to Besisahar.
Day 15
Return drive to Kathmandu and enjoy a farewell dinner with your trekking team.
Day 16
Transfer to the airport or extend your Nepal adventure with other packages.
Please Note
- Permits Required: Manaslu is a restricted area—special permits are needed (we arrange them for you).
- Fitness Matters: Moderate to challenging trek—good fitness and some prep help a lot.
- High Altitude: You’ll cross 5,100 m—our itinerary includes proper acclimatization.
- Basic Teahouse Stay: Cozy, local lodges with simple food and shared facilities.
- Gear Up: Bring proper trekking gear—rentals available in Kathmandu.
- Insurance Needed: Must cover high-altitude trekking and helicopter evacuation.
- Respect Culture: You’re entering sacred Tibetan-influenced communities—dress modestly and be mindful.
- Limited Wi-Fi: Some villages offer paid Wi-Fi; otherwise, it’s mostly digital detox.
- Best Time to Go: March–May and mid-September–November for best weather.
