Driving through Sicily was a grand adventure that offered stunning landscapes and a rich tapestry of history around every corner. I particularly loved staying in charming accommodations that added to the local experience, especially in Palermo where the vibe was vibrant. A couple of the driving routes were a bit challenging, but the breathtaking views made it totally worthwhile.

We absolutely loved the stunning landscapes and rich history we uncovered during our self-drive adventure, where every turn in the road revealed something new and breathtaking. While the itinerary was generally well-planned, we did find a couple of longer driving stretches a bit tiresome, but the vibrant overnight experiences more than made up for it.
