About This Tour

Discover some of the most essential parts of Italy on this five-day cultural trip, beginning with an exploration of the ruins of ancient Pompeii and continuing to the magnificent views of Positano and its surrounding fishing villages.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Pompeii: ‘The buried city,’ it was once the holiday destination of rich ancient Romans because of its healthy weather and impressing views. Its archaeological zones, Herculano and the Annunziata Tower have all been included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO.

Sorrento: Is famous for its cliffs, its steeps streets and with its view to the blue water of Ischia, Capri and the Naples Bay. Its exuberant vegetation and its great weather has made it in the favourite city for the Romans.

Capri: Is a rocky island off the shores of the southern Italian region of Campania, is famed for its rugged landscape, sophistication, upscale hotels and shopping, from designer fashions to Limoncello and handmade leather sandals.

Amalfi: Deemed by UNESCO ‘an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, with exceptional cultural and natural scenic values,’ this coast was awarded a spot on the World Heritage List in 1997.

The Amalfi Coast adventure was a perfect blend of stunning views and cultural exploration, especially the time we spent in Pompeii and Capri. We were pleasantly surprised by the delightful meals, particularly the local seafood in Sorrento, which made each day feel like a feast. However, a couple of our guided tours felt a bit rushed, leaving us wishing for more time to soak in the scenery.

I had an amazing time exploring the stunning coastal charm and vibrant culture of this region over five days. The accommodations were cozy and well-situated, making it easy to unwind after long days of exploring attractions like ancient ruins and picturesque islands. While the guided tours provided fascinating insights, I found myself wishing for a bit more free time to soak in the local atmosphere at my own pace. Overall, it was a delightful adventure that beautifully blended history, scenery, and the essence of local life.

We had an unforgettable time exploring the stunning coastal landscapes while delving into the rich history of ancient sites. The highlight for us was definitely the day spent wandering through ruins, where we could almost hear the echoes of the past. Each evening, we found our way to charming little eateries, enjoying local cuisine that was as vibrant as the scenery. While the itinerary was packed with adventures, there were moments when it felt a bit rushed, especially when trying to savor the breathtaking views. Overall, it was a wonderful escape that balanced relaxation with cultural exploration, making us eager to return for more.
