Exploring the hidden gems of Rome in Italy was a delightful experience, particularly when it came to the culinary aspects. Each day, we ventured off the beaten path to discover charming trattorias where we indulged in authentic Roman dishes, like cacio e pepe and supplì, which truly exceeded our expectations. The guided tours were informative but sometimes felt a bit rushed, especially when we wanted to linger in stunning piazzas. We were fortunate to stumble upon lesser-known sites that showcased the city’s rich history, making our adventure feel uniquely personal. The combination of great food and fascinating stories made for a memorable trip, even if some of the group activities could have been slightly better organized. Overall, this journey offered a wonderful blend of exploration and local flavors that we will cherish. If you’re keen on discovering Rome beyond the tourist traps, this experience is definitely worth considering.

As a solo traveler, I had high hopes for my time in Rome, and this tour mostly lived up to my expectations. I found the culinary experiences to be a highlight, especially the cooking class where I learned to make traditional dishes and enjoyed every bite. However, I did feel that some of the hidden gems I visited were a bit rushed, leaving little time to truly soak in the ambiance. Additionally, while the itinerary was well thought out, certain locations felt overcrowded, which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, I left with a deeper appreciation for the local flavors and unique spots of this enchanting city.
