Next will be The Isartor at the Isartorplatz which is one of the four main gates of the medieval city wall. It served as a fortification for the defense and is the most easterly of Munich's three remaining Gothic town gates. The gate is located close to the Isar and was named after the river.

Stop 8

Last but not the least is the tour to the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl that is a beer hall in originally built in 1589. The building was completely remodeled in 1897. All of the rooms except the historic beer hall ("Schwemme") were destroyed in the World War II bombings.
