Itinerary
ITINERARY
Pick up at your hostel around 9:30am.
- We leave for the Chan Chan archaeological complex to visit the Site Museum, a place where we will have an introduction to the Chimú culture through ceramics, wooden sculptures, legend of origin and a model of the entire city.
- Then we continue to the Nik An Complex, the only group of the nine that comprises the Chan Chan archaeological complex, which has been restored and open to the public. Inside we will visit its squares, corridors, administrative areas and cemetery. Many of these spaces are decorated with beautiful reliefs dedicated to the sea.
- Next we head to Huanchaco, for lunch. Huanchaco is an old fishing town and a place where to this day the old fishing techniques in the famous "caballitos de totora" are still used.
- Later we will attend the wonderful Peruvian Paso and Marinera Horse Show, symbols of Trujillana tradition.
