Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m)
  • Highlight: Warm welcome to Nepal.
    Upon arrival, our team will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Settle in and meet your trekking guide for a short briefing about the adventure ahead.

Day 2 Kathmandu Heritage Tour & Preparation
  • Highlight: Discover UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Join a guided cultural tour of Kathmandu’s sacred landmarks like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Finalize trek permits and check your gear.

Day 3 Drive to Machha Khola (870m) – 8 hrs
  • Highlight: Scenic drive through hills, rivers, and villages. Enjoy a full-day drive via Arughat and Soti Khola, passing through lush landscapes, small towns, and riverbanks. Overnight in a riverside teahouse at Machha Khola.

Day 4 Trek to Jagat (1,340m) – 6 hrs
  • Highlight: Begin trekking along the Budhi Gandaki River. Start your trek on a winding trail through forests, ridges, and traditional villages. Cross suspension bridges and follow the river upstream to reach the stone-paved village of Jagat.

Day 5 Trek to Lokpa (2,240m) – 6 hrs
  • Highlight: Enter the mystical Tsum Valley region. Ascend past subtropical forests and reach the entrance to Tsum Valley. Lokpa marks the beginning of Tibetan-influenced culture. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air.

Day 6 Trek to Chumling (2,386m) – 5 hrs
  • Highlight: Tibetan architecture and hillside settlements. Climb steep forested trails and cross wooden bridges. Arrive at Chumling, a charming village with traditional stone houses and views of the Ganesh Himal range.

Day 7 Trek to Chhokang Paro (3,031m) – 6 hrs
  • Highlight: Wide Himalayan valley and ancient Buddhist culture. Walk through pine forests, cross mani walls, and explore terraced fields. Reach the beautiful twin villages of Chhokang and Paro. Stay in a welcoming local homestay.

Day 8 Trek to Nile (3,361m) – 5 hrs
  • Highlight: Get closer to the Tibetan border and pure serenity. A gentle walk along the upper valley brings you to Nile, the last settlement before the Tibetan frontier. The landscape becomes more alpine and raw.

Day 9 Day Hike to Mu Gompa (3,700m) & Dhephu Doma Nunnery
  • Highlight: Visit the region’s most sacred monastery. Climb up to the historic Mu Gompa, offering panoramic views and spiritual calm. Option to visit the nearby Dhephu Doma Nunnery, nestled on a quiet ridge. Return to Nile for the night.

Day 10 Trek to Rachen Gompa (3,240m) – 4 hrs
  • Highlight: Interact with Buddhist nuns and experience monastic life. Walk downhill to Rachen Gompa, one of the largest nunneries in the region. Take time to observe prayer rituals and connect with local spiritual traditions.

Day 11 Trek to Chumling – 6 hrs
  • Highlight: Retrace scenic trails and reconnect with locals. Descend through forest trails and remote villages, appreciating the beauty from a new angle. Return to Chumling and rest in a familiar, friendly homestay.

Day 12 Trek to Philim (1,570m) – 6 hrs
  • Highlight: forests, waterfalls, and cultural richness. A long and rewarding day as you drop down to lower elevations. Philim is a lovely hill village known for its mixed culture and terraced fields.

Day 13 : Trek to Khorlabesi (970m) – 6 hrs
  • Highlight: Natural hot springs and riverside scenery. Walk along peaceful trails and enjoy a soak at Tatopani’s natural hot springs. Continue on to Khorlabesi for a restful evening near the river.

Day 14 Trek to Soti Khola (700m) – 5 hrs
  • Highlight: Final footsteps through green hills and farms. Trek past rice fields and friendly villages to reach Soti Khola. Celebrate the end of your walking journey with your trekking team.

Day 15 : Drive Back to Kathmandu – 8 hrs
  • Highlight: Return to the capital city through scenic countryside. Relax in a private vehicle as you trace the road back to Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and enjoy a refreshing evening in the city.

Day 16 Free Day in Kathmandu
  • Highlight: Enjoy leisure time or last-minute sightseeing. A flexible day to explore local markets, try Nepali food, or unwind in a garden café. Optional activities include a yoga session or cultural workshop.

Day 17 Final Departure To Back Home
  • Highlight: Farewell from Nepal. We’ll transfer you to the airport for your onward flight. Depart with beautiful memories from the sacred Tsum Valley.
