Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
  • Welcome to Nepal! Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Trek briefing and gear check in the evening.

Day 2 Drive to Machha Khola via Soti Khola (930m) – 8–9 hours
  • Drive to Machha Khola via Soti Khola (930m)—8–9 hours
    A scenic drive through hills and riverside villages to reach Machha Khola, the trek's starting point.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 3 Trek to Jagat (1,340m) – 6–7 hours
  • Follow the Budi Gandaki River through forested trails, ridges, and waterfalls to Jagat, a charming stone village.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 4 Trek to Deng (1,860m) – 6–7 hours
  • Pass through small settlements and lush hills, entering the culturally rich Nubri Valley.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 5 : Trek to Deng (1,860m / 6,100 ft) – Approx. 6 hrs
  • Highlights: Buddhist mani walls, stone-built villages, cultural transformation
    As you ascend, you’ll notice the shift in vegetation and culture. The trail leads past lush greenery and steep cliffs to Philim and then through bamboo forests before arriving in Deng, a Tibetan-influenced village.

  • Trek to Namrung (2,630m) – 6–7 hours

    Climb steadily into higher elevations, with stunning views of the mountains and Buddhist mani walls along the way.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 6 Trek to Lho (3,180m) – 4–5 hours
  • A short day through rhododendron forests and barley fields to reach Lho with its impressive monastery and Manaslu views.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 7 Trek to Samagaun (3,530m) – 4–5 hours
  • Enter the heart of the Nubri region and settle in the culturally rich village of Samagaun.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 8 Acclimatization Day at Samagaun – Hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa

    Explore the majestic surroundings with a hike to either the glacier moraine of Manaslu Base Camp or the ancient Pungyen Monastery.

Day 10 Acclimatization Day in Samdo – Hike to Tibetan Border Viewpoint

Day 11 Trek to Dharmashala (4,460m) – 4 hours
  • A slow ascent toward the high camp of Larkya La Pass, with surrounding views of glaciers and high peaks.
    Overnight in a basic teahouse (limited facilities).

Day 12 Cross Larkya La Pass (5,160m) and descend to Bimthang (3,720m) – 8–9 hours
  • Start early to cross the thrilling Larkya La Pass, with jaw-dropping views of Himlung, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II.
    Overnight in the teahouse at Bimthang.

Day 13 Trek to Tilije (2,300m) – 6–7 hours
  • Descend through pine and rhododendron forests into more temperate landscapes and thriving villages.
    Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 14 Trek to Dharapani (1,860m) and Drive to Besisahar – 6–7 hours
  • A short trek to Dharapani, then drive through winding mountain roads back to Besisahar.
    Overnight at a hotel or guesthouse.

Day 15 Drive to Kathmandu – 6–7 hours
  • Return drive to Kathmandu and enjoy a farewell dinner with your trekking team.
    Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 16 Final Departure to Back Home
  • Transfer to the airport or extend your Nepal adventure with other packages.
