Important Notice: Following a new directive issued by the Government of Malta, effective May 2025, to disembark ashore at the Blue Lagoon, one must obtain an access pass in advance. Passes can be acquired through the official government website blcomino.com. Please ensure you acquire this pass in advance, as the daily pass allocation is limited. You will not be allowed to disembark at the Blue Lagoon without an official pass. For this trip, you are required to book the morning timeslot when applying for your pass. Kindly note that this is a government-mandated regulation and not a policy introduced by us. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. The boat departs from Buġibba Jetty, Dawret Il-Gżejjer, St. Paul's Bay. When you arrive at this location, you need to look for a large blue and white boat. Boarding opens at 8:30 AM and closes at 9:40 AM (20 minutes before the scheduled departure time). The boat departs from Buġibba Jetty in St. Paul's Bay at 10:00 AM sharp. Please ensure that you are on the boat by not later than 9:40 AM. Please make sure you understand the departure and boarding times correctly. The boat cannot wait for any late arrivals. No refunds will be given to any guests arriving late for the boarding. The total duration of this activity is approximately 7 hours. During our day trip, we will stop for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes at the Blue Lagoon in Comino and for approximately 3 hours in Gozo. The bus tour in Gozo must be booked and paid for on location on the day of your trip. Only cash payments are accepted for the bus tour. The bus tour in Gozo includes a stop at Victoria (the capital city of Gozo) and a second stop at Xendi Bay. The cost of the bus tour in Gozo is set at €5 per person; however, the provider reserves the right to change the price slightly without prior notice. The bus tour in Gozo is not a guided tour; both stops will be at leisure (free time). It is important that you adhere to all instructions received from your tour leader or driver. Please make sure you arrive at the agreed-upon meeting place by the time your tour leader or driver has indicated to ensure you do not miss your return transfer to Mġarr Harbour. Guests travelling during the colder months are advised to wear a jacket or bring one just in case, as it might get cold while cruising during the off-season periods. Space on the upper deck is on a first-come, first-served basis; thus, arriving at an earlier time is recommended. Deck chairs on the upper deck are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Locker facilities are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. A cafeteria serving fresh food and hot and cold beverages is available on the boat. Both cash and credit card payments are accepted. The boat is wheelchair and stroller accessible; however, the island of Comino is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. The terrain on Comino Island is very uneven and rugged, which makes it very difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or a stroller. Foldable wheelchairs and strollers are accepted during the Gozo bus tour; while travelling, this equipment can be stored in the luggage or storage compartment of the bus or coach. Not recommended for travellers who are prone to seasickness. Pets, large luggage, and large suitcases are not allowed on the boat. Snorkelling equipment is available for purchase on the boat. An optional speedboat ride to visit other smaller caves not accessible by large boats is available for purchase as soon as you arrive on Comino Island. This can be purchased directly from one of our representatives on the boat. The fee is around €15 per person (the fee can change without prior notice). The provider reserves the right to change the order of the visits or alter the itinerary subject to weather conditions or unforeseen operational constraints. If the trip is cancelled due to poor weather, sea conditions, or strong winds, you will be offered to reschedule your activity on a different date; if you cannot reschedule, you will be given a full refund. No refunds will be issued to customers who are unable to disembark at the Blue Lagoon due to not having a government-issued pass. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain the required pass in advance.
