We will guide you on an Amazon survival trip for people interested in having maximum contact with nature and learning as much as possible about the forest. This trip is in the south of Manaus in the Juma area, 100 kilometers away from the city. On this tour all nights are spent camping in the Amazon Jungle.
🏁 Tour Itinerary: Amazon Survival Trip | 5 Days
Day 1: Manaus to Ceasa Port
At 8 am you are pick up at your hotel and your Amazon Jungle Tour from Manaus begins, where you are transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa Port. From the Ceasa Port, the Group will be taking a speedboat to navigate true the Rio negro to the Floating village Call Catalao, with a stop at one of the floating houses that has a fish farm for the Giant Arapaima Gigas (The biggest scale fish in the World ). Here you will have the opportunity to see some fish and feed them and feel how strong this fish is. After visiting the fish far is time to continue the journey on the fast boat to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and the Solimões River meet. Then you continue to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões River. From there continue by car or van for about an hour to the Maçarico lake. Continue by speedboat arriving at the lodge at about 11:30 am. Lunch is served at noon.
At 2:30 pm the activities begin, the group leaves by motorized boat to the first spot out in the jungle to overnight. After dinner, you will leave by boat for Cayman spotting. Back to camp overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
At 05:30 am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close-up view of the forest waking up to a new day. At 07:00 am breakfast is served and then at 08:00 am a jungle hike starts and finishes at 11:30 am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and sometimes there is the chance to port some monkeys.
The afternoon activity starts at 3 pm. It is canoeing in the flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle. At night leave by boat to do the Cayman spotting. Back to camp overnight.

Day 3: Jungle Trekking
From 08:00 am to 11:00 am a visit is made to a local family house to learn about their simple and fantastic way of living in the forest.
In the afternoon is time to leave by boat to a spot where you will go fishing for some piranhas and other species of fish. You will return to camp and prepare them for dinner. Overnight.

Day 4: Camping in the Forest
Leave in the morning early for another hike in the jungle where you will get a good chance to explore a bit more the amazon jungle and try to spot some wildlife. Back at camp, you will have breakfast and then get on the boat to navigate through the channel and small creeks (depending on the water level) where this is a great chance to spot birds and other wildlife. After the boat ride will be time to get to a new camp in the jungle, time to prepare lunch before setting up camp for that night.
In the afternoon you will go on a short hike in a new area of the jungle before the night comes and then back to camp. At night you will leave by boat with a flashlight, where the guide will show how the local people spearfish at night for food among the small creeks and lake of the region. Overnight.

Day 5: Depart to Manaus
Breakfast is served and is time to get everything set. Is time to get back to the lodge that is our based before getting back to the city, during the journey by boat the guide will navigate through the lakes and channels looking for some birds, monkeys and this would be a good chance to spot some River dolphins in the open lake.
Back to the lodge for lunch and relax before getting back to Manaus. At 01:30 pm is time to depart back to Manaus arriving around 04:30 pm.
