Marrakech New Year’s Eve Tour 2022

Day 1: Marrakech Airport « 28 December 2021 » (D)

Once you arrive at Marrakech airport, you will find our driver waiting for you to pick you up and to show you the hotel where you will have dinner and spend the first night.

Remarks: Small-Group Vs. Private Tour:

The main difference between private and shared tours the customers will share the vehicles of transportation with other people during the shared tours, while rooms and tents are private in both types. You can even choose to stay separated from the group during mealtime. The private tours are distinguished by guaranteed departure, as we are committed to offering the tour once confirming booking. By contrast, Small-group requires 8 participants to start. If the minimum number is not met, we give the customers the choice to have a free cancellation or make a private tour.

Day 2: Exploring Marrakech – Full Day – « 29 December 2021 » (B, L, D)

On the second day, after having breakfast, you will explore the charm of Marrakech with our local tour guide who will show you around the red city to see the historical monuments and places of cultural interest like the Majorelle Garden, the Koutoubia Tower, and the Bahia Palace. After a small lunch break in the restaurant (included) beside the square, we will have time to explore its wonderful souks and handicraft shops. Around 6:00 PM, you will return back to the hotel to have dinner and spend the second night there.

Day 3 : Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges « 30 December 2021 » (B, D)

After breakfast, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou over the high Atlas mountains passing through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will head to Ouarzazate where we will stop near the atlas film studio for taking some pictures and then continue driving to the Kasbah of Taourirt. After that, we will go to Kalaa Mgouna or Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4 : Kelaa M’gouna – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi « 31 December 2021 » (B, D)

On the fourth day, after breakfast, we will drive towards Tineghir passing by Boumalne Dades and stopping for a picturesque view of Dades valley. We will continue to Todra gorges and Tineghir which is a charming town known for its superb palm groves. After arriving at Todra Gorges, you will enjoy its gorgeous Canyons views while hiking on foot. In the afternoon we will continue to Tinjedad and have a break for lunch then driving to Erfoud where you will visit a local fossil craft workshop. Afterward, you will go to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi which is also called Merzouga Dunes to get ready for a camel trek for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. In a traditional luxury nomad tent, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night under the stars.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Tazarine – Agdz – Ouarzazate « 01 January 2022 » (B, D)

We will wake up before sunrise to catch the first glimpses of the sun, have breakfast in the camp and ride camels back to the hotel for a quick shower. Thereafter, we will drive to Rissani which is a small Saharan town in the southeast of Morocco to visit another fossil workshop and to go after that to the Agdez and Draa valley junction where we will head north to Ouarzazate. You will have dinner and spend the night in a lovely Riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 6 : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech « 02 January 2022 » (B, D)

On the last day, after having breakfast, you will visit the famous cinema studio in Ouarzazate which is known as Africa’s Hollywood to head after that to the UNESCO Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah where some of the modern classics like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Indiana Jones were shot. Then, you will get the chance to visit the Kasbahs to learn about Moroccan architecture to finally take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the Atlas Mountains to return back to Marrakech. We will stop at the mountains for having lunch while Dinner and the overnight stay will be in Hotel.

Day 7: Transfer Airport Marrakech « 03 January 2022 » (B)

You will be transported to the airport according to your flight schedule and wish you farewell and hope we have left you lasting memories of Morocco.
