We did the Custom Buenos Aires City Tour with Patrick and we were exceedingly impressed with his knowledge of Buenos Aires. We were only in Buenos Aires for a short period but felt it was important for us to learn as much as we could. Patrick took us to many of the sites including Plaza De Maya, Casa Rosada, La Boca and Recoleta Cemetery to name a few (including some of his personal favorites). He shared so much about the social and political history of this bustling beautiful city. Patrick also went the extra mile and arranged for our group to attend a Tango show and dinner. he recommended restaurants (which were all good). We enjoyed every moment of it and my wife still comments about how much she enjoyed the tour.

Our Guide Margarite was a ture gem. She was flexable with our time schedules and listened to what we were interested in. The tour lets you see a little of all the highlights without having to wait around for a bigger tour group and if you are not interested in something she can adjust on the fly and suggest a different option. I would wanther again for any tour she was part of.

When cruising world we have learned to arrange our own tours and by pass the extra charge the cruise ships ad to tours. Sometimes you are always hoping you made the right choice. When we arrived by cruise ship in Buenos Aires, we disembarked and took a taxi to our hotel, The Park Tower (side note, part of the Marriott – Sheridan chain, but a Luxury Hotel, worth the stay). After we checked in and stored our luggage, we were greeted by our tour guide, Patrick, who arrived prior to our departing time of 10:30am.
Patrick prepared a 7 hour tour of Bueno Aires, starting with the famed Recoleta Cemetery, the burial site of Evita Peron He was extremely knowledgeable of the many tombs of both well know families and not so well know. From there we visited many of the sites you will normally expect to visit on a tour and several sites that others will never see on a more commercial tour. On of the stopes was the city Water Works building. One of the most elaborate buildings in the city, but the story behind it was even more incredible. A quick stop for lunch and we finished exploring the neighborhood of La Boca. Here we explored the extremely colorful streets and Patrick was as he been all day, an expert in the history and customs of this area. Safely back to our hotel, we felt we had more then a tour, we spent time with a friend and understood the history of Buenos Aires past, present and future. P/S we arranged transportation to the airport when we departed for our flight the next day.

We had a great day, seeing all the sights in BA on our city tour. The graveyard, the mysterious underground tunnels, and the La Boca were great highlights. Rosa our guide was so knowledgeable and made our tour so interesting. Highly recommend Signature Tours.
