Wandering through the ancient ruins of Jerash was a truly captivating experience. The moment I stepped into the Oval Plaza, I felt immersed in history; the grand columns towering above me were simply breathtaking. While the guide provided insightful commentary, I found myself wishing for a bit more time to explore on my own, especially around the well-preserved amphitheater. The only downside was the slight challenge of navigating through some tourist groups in certain areas, which momentarily broke the serene atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic day trip from the Dead Sea, and I left with a deep appreciation for Roman architecture and Jordan’s rich past.
